My day is structured around maintaining the precise routines and well-being of the cats in my care. I start my rounds with a focus on reliability, arriving at scheduled times to ensure consistency. Upon entering a home, I begin with a respectful, 'Fear Free' greeting to establish safety before moving into health and maintenance. I don't just feed and scoop; I meticulously inspect the litter box for health indicators and monitor the living environment for any signs of distress or illness. After washing everything and handling nutrition and any necessary medical administration, I dedicate time to intentional socialization or play, always tailored to that specific cat's body language and energy levels. My goal is to be a professional advocate for their welfare, providing the owners with detailed updates and the total peace of mind that their cat's health and home are in expert hands.

Hi, there, lovely cat parents! I am Maria Eirini, and I would be happy to offer cat-licious care for your beloved felines. I am originally from Greece and have lived in Amsterdam for many years now. I also speak Dutch if that helps. I have worked in hospitality all my life but for several years now, I have decided to have a turn in my career and find a new footing. I thought that becoming a cat sitter would fill my hours so pleasantly next to my favorite animals and help me make a new start. Back home, I was always in love with all the stray cats. I have looked after many generations of them. Cats are my life. Now I also work as a volunteer at the animal shelter Amsterdam (doa) at the cat's department and have worked at the special Poesenboot (catboat)! I have completed many studies on animal well-being and feline behavior, health, and first aid. I have obtained my cat expert care certification from KGA and my Fear Free for pet sitters certification amonst many other certifications and diplomas on feline care, behaviour, and welfare. I am a certified professional cat sitter and a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) I would be happy if you would entrust me with your lovely pet(s) and I get to meet you in person. Maria did a wonderful job taking care of our senior cat, String Bean. She sent us thoughtful updates that let us know he was very well cared for, and even brought him some new toys to try which was very sweet. Maria is observant and it’s clear she has put in a lot of work to educate herself on caring for cats, as she is very detail-oriented and thorough by having made sure she met us and String Bean before our trip, as well as following the details of our intake form explicitly. Most importantly, String Bean was very happy in her care. We will most definitely be returning customers 😊
Maria was really nice and sweet with Enzo. She gave me some really good advice about how feeding habbits and how to increase his hydration. Enzo Warner out to her very fast and I have the best pictures of him from the visits. Strong recommend Maria for your cat’a well being and for your peace of mind. 😊
