WFH means Walks, Play & Cuddles!
I'm a freelance writer based in Leith, Edinburgh, and I'm at home most days, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. I love having dogs around, and they're the perfect excuse to take a break from my desk for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I've had dogs since I was 16 and believe they're family members who deserve the same love, patience, and attention as anyone else. I have experience caring for senior dogs with additional needs, including our family dog, Layka (mini pinscher), during her diabetic years when she lost much of her eyesight. I've also helped care for my brother's puppy Kira (Labrador), while she was recovering from hip dysplasia surgery, giving me experience with post-operative care and following recovery routines. Living in Leith means easy access to great parks and walking routes, and I'm happy to adapt to your dog's usual routine and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, lots of cuddles, or simply having a calm companion nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I'm always happy to provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring hands! :)

I’m so glad I found her to look after my dog, Kira. She’s kind, reliable, and it’s obvious she genuinely loves dogs. Kira usually takes a little while to trust new people, but she felt comfortable with her really quickly 😊 The best part is that every time Kira sees her now, she gets so excited. She even spots her from a distance when we're out for a walk and starts wagging her tail straight away 😂 😂That tells me everything I need to know about how well she looked after her. I’ll definitely be asking her to look after Kira again. 100% recommend!🐶
I highly recommend Cynthia as a pet sitter. She has been surrounded by dogs and cats since she was a child, which has given her a natural understanding of animals and their needs. She is incredibly caring, patient, responsible, and genuinely loves spending time with pets. One of our dogs had both diabetes and Cushing's syndrome, which required daily blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections. Cynthia was always attentive to her needs, making sure her medication was given on time, monitoring her condition carefully, and providing her with the love and comfort she needed. She handled these responsibilities with confidence, compassion, and great attention to detail. I would completely trust Cynthia with any pet, whether they are young, elderly, healthy, or require special medical care. Any pet in her care will be treated as if they were her own, with kindness, patience, and dedication. I have no doubt she will provide exceptional care and give pet owners complete peace of mind.

Schedule
I'm currently working from home most of the days, so I will be able to play and walk your dog - and I'll love the excuse to stretch my legs!

I can care for your dog and pay attention to their needs. I live in an area surrounded by parks, which is perfect for playtime and walks. At home, I will respect their space and make sure they get cuddles (if they want) and that they are comfy and fed :)
