I ask for and follow all the instructions the pet's family gave me, reporting back via WhatsApp on the pet's behaviour (if they are, drank water, played, slept, peed/pooped). For dogs, I play with them before leaving the house to build trust. I also bring their treats (authorised by their family) to the walks and do a few recall/reward rounds before we leave. For cats, I let them smell me first and leave them alone so they can get used to me. If I have multiple visits, I'll leave a personal item so they can get familiar with my smell and are not as scared/bothered the next time I come by.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Bia enough! From the very beginning, she has been absolutely wonderful with Mango. She is incredibly caring, attentive and genuinely interested in getting to know him and his little personality. Every time she looks after him, we receive lots of lovely updates and pictures, which is so reassuring and always makes us smile. Mango means the absolute world to us, so trusting someone with him is a very big deal, and with Bia we feel completely comfortable knowing he is happy, safe and getting plenty of attention, playtime and affection. Most importantly, Mango clearly adores her, which probably says more than anything we could write! 🐾 We feel incredibly lucky to have found Bia and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for someone who will genuinely care about their pet.

Maria was excellent with little Hugo who has a lot of energy and can be a handful at times. She is kind, friendly, very good communicator, and more importantly, she really knows how to mamage well a puppy.
Maria Beatriz (Bia) was FANTASTIC. From the start at the meet & greet she asked so many insightful questions and took the greatest amount of care in our home. She sent us plenty of photos and updates on how the cats were doing throughout the long weekend, which we really appreciated. And she played with them so much! We definitely will be booking Bia again - thank you so much!
Bea was communicative, punctual and very detail oriented. She carefully read all of the instructions I gave her, asked lots of questions and sent lots of updates. She looks after Sonny so well and clearly does the best job she possibly can! I have already booked her again :)

Schedule
I am a part-time remote freelancer, making my schedule quite flexible. I am available on weekdays from 7:30am, and weekends from 8:30am for walks and in-house visits. I am available for house sitting too, as long as you don't mind me working from there.

- Please let me know of any habits, preferences, needs, and behaviours I should be aware of about your pet. This will make it easier for me to respect their boundaries, create a true connection with them and report back to you in a more assertive way. I don't mind cleaning, playing, feeding and cuddling with them. I just want to make sure my presence is as least disruptive as possible.
