I would care for my clients’ pets the same way I care for my cat-son, Remy. I give him all the attention he desires, and I do the less-than-desireable things (like washing his litterbox monthly, clipping his nails, and brushing his teeth) with a smile because I know it’s what’s best for him.

A typical day
I love to tailor the activities to the pet. Does your dog love one long walk a day, or many short walks? Does your cat like being chased around the house? Does your pet enjoy enrichment activities? I’m here to make sure your pet is happy and healthy, so I will do everything you tell me would help accomplish that!

Pet care experience
My first formal pet sitting experience was taking out and playing with my uncle’s black lab puppy after school, my senior year of high school. Then, that same year I pet my aunt’s 2 cats in 2016. During the pandemic, for over a year, I stayed at my friend’s house while she was away at work. I would take her precious pup Lala out for walks, give Lala and her cat-sister Sophia their meds with breakfast, and treat them like the princesses they are.

Maria is a wonderful pet sitter. Not only will she provide your pets with excellent care, but she'll also treat them as if they were her own. Over the years, Maria came to my house twice weekly (full days) to care for my dog. She took the time to get to know my pet and meet them where they were as my dog was a bit of a puller. Rather than becoming frustrated, Maria understood that each pup has their own personality. She truly loved my girl. Maria was also my go-to for vacations where I'd sometimes be away for as long as 10 days. She cared for my dog and cat and worked her schedule around their needs. She provided the basics but also treats, snuggles, and more. I can't recommend Maria enough for pet sitting. If you want someone who will treat your beloved pets as good or better than how you treat them, she's the one for you.
Maria treated my 2 cats like they were here own. Of course she took care of their basic needs. But what is special about her is she played with them, brushed them & loved them like they were her own. I highly recommend her for the care of any pet.
Maria has watched my cat for me many times while I have traveled. I always know he is getting top notch snuggles and playtime. Not only is she the sweetest pet caregiver, but she’s the kindest human as well. She always sends me updates including photos which always made me feel so at ease with being away. I couldn’t and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to watch your pet. Maria simply is the best!
If there’s anyone I’d trust to watch my cat over and over again — it’s Maria. An animal lover, Maria has a deep respect and caring attitude towards pets of all kinds. From skittish cats to people-person dogs — even exotic fish, Maria goes out of her way to understand the personality and needs of the pets in her care and meet them where they’re at. But outside of her respect for animals and gentle nature when meeting a new pet, Maria has all the qualities a good employee needs. She is immaculately punctual — your time is just as important as hers and she never wants to waste it. She doesn’t take responsibility lightly, if you give her a task, she will see it through and do it with an immense amount of care. Additionally, Maria is incredibly honest. If something happens while your pet is under her care, she will openly communicate with you in a timely manner. Everyone needs a pet sitter like Maria. She treats every pet she cares for as one of her own. She even offered to stay at my apartment (in another city, I should mention), to care for my cat and ease my worries. You will never meet a more responsible, caring, honest individual. I would recommend her again and again!
