We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful.

Maria was a fantastic dog sitter. My pup was very well taken care of and came home with no signs of stress as he has in previous experiences elsewhere. She was incredibly communicative and asked clarifying questions to ensure my pup was happy. She had another Rover dog at the same time and made careful calculated decisions about whether to allow the two dogs to interact or to keep them entirely separate. She was available at the last minute and was able to schedule a meet and greet to ensure we were a good fit within 24 hours of me reaching out. I will absolutely be utilizing Maria’s services again and whole-heartedly recommend her.

We did a meet and greet with my dog. Maria was very communicative and sent photos and updates during Nairobi’s stay for piece of mind.
Maria was awesome and my dog had a great time! She sent pics and videos too so I felt updated and wasn’t nervous.
I wish I could give Maria 10 stars! My dachshund has never been this happy after spending time away from me. He's absolutely spoiled by the level of attention he gets in our WFH family, so boarding is usually a huge ordeal. But Maria and her family made him feel so safe and cared for that it's like I never even left. He's as serene as can be. I'm so happy I have someone to leave him with where I won't have to feel guilty!

Schedule
My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.
A typical day
We have toys on hand to help engage with the dogs. If the dogs enjoy playing fetch, we play fetch with them. If the dog is more calm and needs a more relaxing environment, we can provide that as well. We can also take the dogs on walks if you're comfortable with that. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly.
