UPDATE: During the summer, no class during the AM. I walk longer in the morning to avoid the afternoon heat. I currently attend classes in the mornings, so I’m usually away from home from around 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. In the afternoons I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. When I get home, I usually take my dog on a long walk (typically 45 minutes to 1 hour minimum), and in the evenings my husband and I often go for another longer walk around 6 PM. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, or sitting anytime after 12:30 PM on weekdays, and I always make sure dogs get attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day.

I live in an apartment in a very dog-friendly area near the river, with plenty of safe walking paths and green spaces nearby. There is also a small fenced dog area directly across the street for safe play and exercise. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and positive environment where dogs feel comfortable and cared for. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, energy level, and routine, and I always follow owners’ instructions closely regarding walks, feeding, training, medications, or special care needs.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavioral issues I should be made aware of. I do have a dog of my own, she's a one-year-old, very friendly, playful, well-behaved mix. It would be important that your dog is well socialized to have a harmonious experience if they are going to spend time together.
A typical day
Besides our usual walk by the river, we can let them lose in the dog park across our street. At home I enjoy giving them frozen licky-mats as well as carboard sniff boxes.

I’ve had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs. Our family dogs lived to 16 and 18 years old, so I understand the patience, attention, and care that older dogs may need. I’ve also fostered puppies and now have our own foster-fail, Boni 🐾. Through fostering and raising dogs, I’ve gained hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. While our dogs have been professionally trained, I’ve attended the training classes myself and learned a lot about dog behavior, communication, positive reinforcement, and creating a calm, safe environment for dogs to feel comfortable and happy. I’m an active, caring, and reliable person who truly enjoys spending time with animals… whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply making sure your dog feels at home while you’re away.

Maria Antonia y su pareja han sido fantásticos. Desde el primer momento Cata se ha sentido súper agusto con ellos, además se ha hecho amiga de su perrita Bonie. Esto ha facilitado mucho que Cata estuviera todo el día jugando y ha estado tranquila. Durante todo el día María Antonia nos ha estado reportando lo que han hecho. Ha llevado un seguimiento perfecto de la rutina de Cata. No dudaría en repetir con ella! :)
