For boarding and house sitting is really important that your pup is able to stay by themselves for at least 4 hours straight as we will be leaving during the day to attend our other clients.

We only offer leashed walks as a safety precaution and determine the length and pace of every walk by assessing each dog’s condition at the time (always extra aware of any ailments or extreme weather). No dog park visits because of liability issues.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs, what he likes and doesn’t. We like to provide exercise and enrichment to cover all your dog’s needs.
A typical day
We walk around the neighborhood or go for hikes on close by trails rain or shine unless otherwise preferred. If the visit is just at home we provide potty breaks, play time, enrichment and bonding (brushing, petting…) for the duration of the stay (30 or 60 min). In the case of housesitting we strive to provide a routine as close as what the pups are used to, always within our possibilities and terms of service.

⭐️ OPENING FOR RECURRING MORNING WALKS MON, WED, FRI ⭐️ We are dog trainers with over 14 years of experience combined, and the owners of International Pet Academy, LLC. We’ve taken care of dogs (ours, friends and clients) for several years. We have had a Great Dane, Weimaraner, Golden Retriever and Poodles in the past, so we’re familiar with giant and high energy breeds. But we love all breeds and try to learn as much as we can every day since we know that with dogs it’s not “one size fits all”, every dog has their own personality and needs. The most important thing for us is bonding with the dogs we sit/walk so we can enjoy all the fun activities we'll do. We work fulltime as dog trainers but still have availability for weekly walks and visits on weekdays.

Alfonso is conscientious, caring, and very attentive to our dogs. We trust him completely - whether it’s dog walks, in home visits, feedings, training - you name it, he’s THE BEST. He also takes the most amazing pics of our pups - he could be a pro photographer on the side 😃! And bonus - our dogs absolutely adore him! If you want peace of mind with someone who genuinely cares for dogs, Alfonso is your guy! We’ve been using Alfonso for years and couldn’t be happier that we found him on Rover. If we could give him 10 stars, we would!!
Alfonso is amazing with Bella! She loves him to take her for a walk and he is kind to wipe her down if it has been raining; she has, in the past, been somewhat reactive to meeting other dogs, but walking with him she is not showing this behavior, which is wonderful!
Alfonso is super reliable and helpful. My dogs are better dogs because of his work with them. I appreciate his help so much!
