A loving second home for your pet!
Hi there! My name is Alexa, and I live with my partner, Daniel, and our dog, Sky. We’re excited to open our Rover profile to care for your furry friends while also giving Sky the chance to make some new companions. Sky is an active and social dog who hasn’t had many opportunities to interact with other pets since we moved to England. We thought this would be a wonderful way to keep her happy while helping fellow pet owners. As for our experience, I’ve been around animals my whole life. Growing up in a small village in Greece, I cared for numerous stray cats and dogs, adopting them and giving them a safe space in our backyard. While I have extensive experience with cats, unfortunately, we’re unable to accommodate them because Sky isn’t very friendly toward them. Daniel also has a wealth of experience—he previously cared for an active dog named Luigi, who required a lot of attention and training. Dan even attended training sessions with Luigi, gaining valuable skills and knowledge that we now apply to caring for Sky and any other pets in our home. Sky’s journey with us has been quite an adventure! We adopted her in Tbilisi, Georgia, and since then, she’s traveled with us to Spain, Portugal, Greece, and now the UK. While we’re not doing this for the money—hence our low rates—we’re passionate about giving pets the love and attention they deserve. If we could, we’d adopt as many dogs as possible, but as fellow dog owners, we understand the challenges that come with that dream.

Alexa and her partner looked after our puppy Stanley beautifully, they gave us lots of updates and gave him lots of cuddles!
Our dog Nyx had a great week with Maria and Skye. Maria sent us regular updates and photos so we knew what Nyx was up to. We’d definitely recommend Maria to look after your dog!
Great experience with Maria. It is very easy to communicate with her and she sends a lot of updates. Paddy seams to enjoy himself a tonne.
Maria was amazing and Ziggy clearly had a great time with Sky. A good level of updates and would definitely use them again.

I’m a Primary School teacher so my Rover profile is active during school holidays when I have plenty of time to take care of Sky and one more pet!

Our home is a cosy three-bedroom house in Harborne, complete with a fenced garden —perfect for some fun playtime for Sky and your pet. We take Sky on two hour-long walks every day, so rest assured, your pup will have plenty of exercise and stimulation. By the time they head home, they’ll be happily worn out and ready to relax. Inside, our apartment is clean, spacious, and equipped with plenty of toys to keep your dog entertained. At the end of each boarding or day care stay, I’ll provide you with a detailed Rover card. It will include the route we took during walks along with plenty of photos and videos, so you can always feel reassured about your pet’s care and happiness. Having used Rover sitters for Sky multiple times, I understand how important it is to feel confident and secure about your choice. I’ll do everything I can to give you the same peace of mind we’ve appreciated as pet owners.
Pets
A typical day
After welcoming your pet into our home, I’ll allow some time for them to get acquainted with Sky and build a friendly connection. Once they’re comfortable, we’ll head out for our first hour-long walk, usually to Grove Park, where we might bump into other dogs—some of whom Sky already knows. After our walk, we’ll return home for some relaxation, or, if the dogs still have energy, we’ll enjoy some playtime indoors. Later in the afternoon, we’ll have a short 15-minute playtime to the garden for any toilet needs, followed by some well-deserved downtime until the evening. Around 7 or 8 PM, we’ll set off for our second hour-long walk, this time around the cricket fields in Harborne, ensuring your pet gets plenty of exercise and stimulation throughout the day.
