Experienced cat sitter specialising in home boarding. I've been caring for cats and other pets for many years, and over time, cat boarding has become what I enjoy most and specialise in. I understand that leaving your cat with someone else can feel very different from leaving a dog. Cats can be particularly sensitive to changes in their surroundings, so I provide a calm and comfortable home environment where they can settle in at their own pace. I take the time to get to know each cat's personality, habits and usual routine, and I always follow their owner's instructions as closely as possible. Whether your cat is confident and sociable, shy and cautious, or simply prefers to do their own thing, I adapt their care to suit them. I've been caring for cats through Rover for several years and have built strong relationships with many repeat clients. I'm also a Star Sitter, with a 5.0 rating and all five-star reviews from owners who have trusted me with their cats time and time again. My focus is simple: to provide a safe, calm and caring home away from home for your cat while you're away.

Schedule
A calm and home-based routine. I work from home, so I am able to be around for most of the day and give the cats staying with me plenty of company and supervision. I keep a calm household routine and give each cat the time and space they need to settle in comfortably. I don't expect every cat to be sociable straight away, some enjoy plenty of attention and play, while others are happier having a quiet space of their own. I also keep owners updated throughout the stay with regular photos and videos, so you can see how your cat is settling in and know that they are doing well while you're away.

Your cat will stay in my own home, where I provide a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment designed around their needs. I don't have any pets of my own, so your cat won't need to share the home with a resident cat or dog. This can be particularly helpful for cats who are nervous, independent or simply prefer having their own space. I always aim to keep your cat's usual routine as consistent as possible, including feeding times, food preferences, litter habits, play and any other instructions you provide. You're also very welcome to bring familiar items from home, such as a favourite blanket, bed or toy, if these help your cat feel more settled. Before a first booking, I'm happy to discuss your cat's personality, routine and any particular needs, so that you can feel comfortable knowing exactly where and with whom they will be staying.
A typical day
Every cat is different, so I don't follow a one-size-fits-all routine. I get to know each cat and adapt their day around their personality, usual habits and individual needs. Some cats enjoy plenty of interaction, play and attention, while others are happier with a quieter approach and a little more space. I let them settle in at their own pace and make sure they feel comfortable in their surroundings. During the stay, I pay attention to their eating, drinking, litter habits and general behaviour, as well as anything specific their owner has asked me to keep an eye on. Regular photo and video updates are also part of my service, so you'll be able to see how your cat is settling in and keep in touch with them while you're away.
