I currently work fully remote so I am always at home during working hours. If the pet has any special needs to be accommodated I have a very flexible schedule so it should be no issue!

Safety, trust & environment
always prioritize their comfort, routine, and well-being. In my home, I create a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel at ease. I follow their feeding & potty schedule, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they get the exercise or playtime they’re used to. When staying at a client’s home, I respect their space and aim to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. I follow any specific instructions regarding food, medication, walks, or habits. I also take the time to bond with each pet, especially if they’re shy or need extra reassurance.

Information Maria A. would like to know about your pet
Before I pet sit, I just need a few details to make sure I can give your pet the best care possible, especially if they have any health needs or special requirements. Health & Special Needs: - Does your pet have any medical conditions I should be aware of? - Are there any physical limitations or mobility issues? - Do they need help getting up, walking, or using the bathroom? Medications: Are they on any medications? If yes, please let me know: - What medication - Dosage - How and when it should be given - Any tricks that help (like hiding it in a treat) - What should I do if they refuse a dose or have a reaction? - Emergency Info - Vet contact and preferred emergency clinic - Your contact info and a backup contact just in case - Do they have pet insurance? Other Notes: - Any other special care or routines that help keep them comfortable? - Any past injuries or sensitivities I should be careful with? Also, just a heads up: Since my apartment is on the second floor with stairs, If your pet has any mobility challenges, I can only house sit them at my place if they’re small enough for me to carry and comfortable being carried. I’m happy to come to your home instead if that’s easier for them. Let me know if you have any questions or extra info. Thanks so much!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I make sure they feel loved and entertained. If they enjoy being active, we’ll go on walks, play with their favorite toys, or do little games to keep them mentally engaged. If they’re more relaxed, we’ll have cuddle time or just hang out together. I always adjust to what each pet enjoys most and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and having fun while you're away.

Pet care experience
I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a pet-loving home, I had the chance to care for a variety of dog breeds including Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pitbulls, Belgian Malinois, Chihuahuas, and Maltese. This gave me hands-on experience with both large and small breeds, as well as dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. I’m comfortable handling both trained and untrained dogs, and I understand how to work with pets who may have special needs or require medication. I’ve also managed the care of multiple dogs at once, making sure each one gets the attention and care they deserve. Whether your dog needs a calm companion, a play buddy, or someone who can follow a specific routine, I’ve got it covered.

Reviews

Peachy stayed with Maria for 18 days, and I’m so happy with the care she received. It was my first time leaving Peachy with a dog sitter, so I was a bit nervous, but Maria made me feel very calm and reassured while I was away. She gave regular updates, was very attentive to Peachy, and clearly cared about making her feel comfortable. I’m very grateful that Maria took such good care of Peachy.

Everything went well, exactly the way we agreed. Maria is reliable and caring. Thank you, Maria.
Maria took care of our senior dog, Schroeder, while we were on vacation. She was incredibly accommodating to his age-related needs, demonstrating a thoughtful and personalized approach to his care. I felt completely at ease knowing that Schroeder was in safe hands—and that he would be comfortable and happy while we were away. Maria, thank you so much for taking care of Schroeder. We appreciate it a lot!
I had the privilege to have Mika looking over my beloved cat Bella, she had my baby at her place for 3 weeks straight and she fell in love with her. She took full responsibility for her and I knew my baby was in safe hands! A staying of play, yummy food, care and more. The best! <3
