I'm not currently working or in school...yet. My availability to take jobs after the end of August will depend on my schedule. I'm either at home with my pets or running about, with no more than 5 hours of them being at home without a bathroom break. Dogs I care for get walks as well as some play or snuggle time.

For dogs that like getting their energy out, I enjoy playing fetch, going on neighborhood walks, and using local hiking trails. For dogs that like mental stimulation, I enjoy providing interactive toys such as Kongs, or setting up dog puzzles. I know that there are some dogs that simply like to sit and snuggle after walking around the block, which is fine by me too. It all depends on their needs.

Not only do I have a great love for all types of animals, but I have 5+ yrs of experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital. Is your pet on insulin, steroids, or antibiotics? Do they have any special health conditions? Not a problem, I can work with them as long as you provide the details of what's needed. I have 3 pets of my own: a shorthaired black cat named Schoko, a Cocker Spaniel mix named Bissli, and a younger sheltie mix named Gila. The older two pets are seniors and have chronic health issues, but still act like kitten and puppy sometimes.

Mari has done drop-in visits a few times for my two cats, one of whom can be very feisty and picky. She’s done a great job responding to his temperament and is incredibly helpful and personable. I would absolutely recommend her!
