Care for your little loved ones
I am be happy to care for your pets, animal companions, and furbabies. I do my best to help them to feel as happy and comfortable as they can be in your absence. Safety is top priority. I will treat your beloved animal with love, patience, and care. I have done so many pet-gigs offline of Rover, so I'm not new to pet-care! I grew up always having animals in my home. When I was a teen, folks started to ask me to pet-sit for them. While I hadn't solicited myself as a pet-sitter, this continued into my adulthood where friends, co-workers, and friends of friends would reach out to me asking if I would pet-sit for them. Caring for animals was something that I always naturally enjoyed and had a knack for, as I am pretty sensitive and empathic to the needs of others. I now have a lot of experience with pet-sitting and care for dogs, cats, lizards, parrots, birds, bunnies, chickens, goats, houseplants, and gardens. Feel free to reach out and message me to connect!

Mari did a very nice job taking care of my ten month old doberman puppy Elsa while I was away for four nights. This was the first time I was away from home since adopting Elsa, and I was nervous about leaving her. Mari spent over an hour with me and Elsa at a meet and greet to make sure she was a good fit. She has excellent communication skills and a calming presence. She really set me at ease. While I was away, Mari did a great job responding to Elsa's needs. She was both responsible and flexible. She kept me posted on how things were going. When I got home, I could tell Elsa had been well taken care of. Elsa definitely seemed very comfortable and happy around Mari. I would be happy to work with her again.
Mari was great. Could not ask for a better experience leaving her with my very old dog & in charge of my house. Would be very happy to have her help anytime again.
I have used Mari’s services for pet-sitting several times and have felt such calm going away knowing she is caring for my dog Luna. The attention, love and care she gives my Luna eases her anxiety when I have been away. Mari is kind, pleasant to interact with, and respectful of my home.

Right now I am available during the weekdays M-F. I also have experience with animals who have attachment anxiety and need a little more TLC.

A typical day
Depending on what you're looking for, I am happy to take your pet on outdoor adventures, take strolls around their own neighborhood, or just cuddle them at home.
- CatsMari can host up to 2 pets per night
- Specific medical needs or social preferences. Anything that makes them feel particularly comfortable and safe, or if they have any distinguishable triggers/dislikes. I have experience with both senior animals and puppies/kittens, so please specify any needs.
