Luke had just arrived home from travelling, and will therefore be able to stay in the house during the day to take care of your pet. We live well-connected to anywhere in a 5-mile radius, so we will be able to jump in whenever needed and take care of the pets even at last minute notice.

Safety, trust & environment
Due to our flexible schedule, we will be able to stay at the house for the entire day, any of the week. For especially dependent dogs we are also able to negotiate a schedule where we will never leave the dog alone. We would take care of anything else that needs doing in the house, such as watering plants and taking out the bins. The most important thing to us is knowing the routine between the owner and the dog, so that we can replicate this to the best of our abilities.
Information Margret F. would like to know about your pet
We can dogsit any breed or age of dog. The only thing we do not have experience with is injecting medication, but we have experience with oral medication for older pets. It would be great to know what kind of exercise the dog would need, and about any special requirements/allergies. We also want to respect your dog’s routine so please let us know what your normal day looks like. We are very adaptable so I am sure we will be able to accommodate for any need!
A typical day
We will work around the owner´s schedule, while including some extra exercise for the dog, mental and/or physical, depending on the preference of dog and owner. We will start the day with a nice walk and then while I work (from home) I will make sure to give the dog extra love, and ensure that they have enough water and the right amount of food. Around halfway through my work day I will take a long break to schedule in some proper play time (depending on the dog´s age and ability). This will either be fetch or frisbee throwing in a nearby park or through more puzzle-type games in the house. If we do more puzzle activities, we will also make sure to go on a slow, long walk in the day. After work we will take some time to relax with the dog, giving it some time to relax after playtime. We will watch a movie or read, while allowing the dog the rest it needs. If we have to leave the house, we will leave some mentally stimulating games in the house to keep the dog occupied and distracted until we hurry back home. If the dog gets treats during the day we will do this through more stimulating ways, such as tying it up in a towel. We will of course go for a walk before sleep and give some extra love before we say goodnight.

Pet care experience
Me and my boyfriend, Luke, have both grown up around dogs and cats, having experience with dogs ranging from chihuahuas to Great Danes. I grew up with a coltriever, and since she left my family, I have been looking for a dog to give my love to. Our families and friends have relied on both of us to dogsit for many years, and we have even dogsat in multiple countries! We love finding creative ways of keeping pets entertained and stimulated, and will be doing this for your dog! Luke is a big runner, so he will be able to take the dogs that need extra exercise on long and rewarding runs. Margret on the other hand loves slow walks and a cozy night in, so those cuddly dogs that want to escape the cold will also be taken good care of. As we are two people we will be able to make sure your dog is rarely/never alone! We would absolutely love to take care of your dog, either for a few walks here and there, or to stay in your house and take care of your furry friend <3

Reviews

I would always trust Margret with little Luna! Great sitter and dog walker :)

Super pleased! Margret was lovely and Disco had such a nice day - thank you!!

Margret and Luke were great with our boys and looked after them really well. They were also great house guests and we’d love to have them back to dog/house sit

I would absoloutley recommend Margaret - a brilliant sitter and a respectful house guest! My dog Pongo instantly bonded with her with shows her natural affinity for dogs and their needs.
