Having grown up surrounded by dogs of all breeds and sizes, I bring over 30 years of hands-on pet care experience to every pup I welcome. I treat dogs like family, giving them the same love, attention, and structure they’d get at home. We live on an acreage just outside city limits, with safe and well-groomed trails we’ve created right in our backyard. Your dog will enjoy daily nature walks, plenty of playtime, and a peaceful environment where they can relax and feel at home.

Can you give double 5 star ratings?? Margarita was so wonderful for us and our fur baby! She treated Pip like part of the family, sent us pictures, created fun videos, dealt with the spring shedding season, and even gave him a bath so he would be clean for the trip we were taking after picking him up. She is amazing!

Schedule
My routine is very flexible since I work from home part-time for myself. That means your pup will rarely be left alone and will get lots of attention and care.

Safety, trust & environment
While I don’t have a fenced yard, your pup will always be supervised outdoors. I use safe tie-outs for quick potty breaks, and I love taking dogs on our well-groomed backyard trails for longer walks and playtime.

A typical day in my care includes plenty of outdoor time, potty breaks, and long walks on our safe trails. I love keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged with games, snuggles, and positive attention. Whether it’s fetch, a nature walk, or just relaxing on the deck, I make sure every dog feels loved and comfortable throughout the day.

- It’s important for me to know your dog’s routine, energy level, and any special needs ahead of time. Please share feeding instructions, medication schedules, potty habits, and how they do with other dogs. I also like to know if there are any triggers (anxiety, resource guarding, leash reactivity) so I can keep them safe and comfortable. The more details, the better I can make their stay feel just like home.
