Hello, my name is Margarita. I have experience working with not only dogs and cats but also primates and small mammals in a zoo setting. I've worked as a vet tech and zookeeper. Besides my professional experience, I’ve been around animals my whole life. I’ve taken care of my friends and families’ pets both cats and dogs alike and I feel confident doing so. I love working with animals, it’s definitely a passion of mine. I want to provide the best care possible to ensure your kiddo is not only physically healthy but also mentally enriched!

Safety, trust & environment
My top priority is the health of your pet. I can make sure your pet is hydrated and in good health while on our walk. I’ll also make sure that the pavement isn’t too hot for your pet’s paws. If your pet prefers playtime, I can stay and play with them for upwards of half an hour to allow them to socialize or do a mix of both: a walk and playtime. I know how important it is to send regular pictures/updates seeing how I’ve used Rover before for our pet and as a pet owner I understand the anxiety that comes with somebody watching your baby. As for your home, I will make sure the door is locked once I leave and that your pet has enough water and food if it is feeding time. I will also leave a light on for your pet if you prefer and will let you know as soon as I leave your home.

Margarita did an outstanding job with Buutercup! He’s a bit shy but she did a great job engaging with his favorite toy. She is always on time & keeps his water, food & litter box maintained well. Schedule
I am free most evenings during the week after about 5-6 pm. On weekends, I am free Saturdays after 1pm and all day on Sunday.

- For me it is important to know if your pet is up to date on vaccines and if they are good with people. I can accommodate for any special needs they have, I’ll just need to hear some background about it and I’ll be good to go. I would also like to know if they are dog friendly so I know if it’s okay to socialize them with other pups or if you’d prefer not to.
