I am studying to be a dog instructor at Hundens Hus. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. I had my own Yorkie for 17 years and I’ve been missing him so much 💔 My grandma had several poodles and cats when I was growing up. Since I moved to Sweden, I’ve been missing taking care of animals. I always help out my friends and neighbors with cat and dog sitting when they travel. I mostly take care of small and medium dogs as I live in an apartment. My job is pretty flexible with working from home (but needs prior notice) and I live close to the office. So I can spend a lot of time walking and playing with the pets.

Margarita took care of our cat Mishka while we were away on a short trip. She came over to our place to feed him, clean after him and, importantly, play with him. She made sure to spend some time with Mishka so he wouldn’t feel lonely and bored while we were away. She also made sure to send pictures and updates to us. We felt 100% sure that he was in good hands. We recommend Margarita and would absolutely book her again 👌🏻

Margarita var punktlig och lätt att kommunicera med. Hon tog hand om min katt hemma hos mig (drop-in) och det har fungerat mycket bra! Utöver det nödvändiga med mat, vatten och låda har hon också klappat och borstat katten, lekt med henne och släppt ut/in henne, och jag har fått uppdateringar och foton. Det märks att Margarita är en sann djurvän, och jag skulle gärna anlita henne som djurvakt igen!

Margarita is a phenomenal pet sitter. When we first showed up for a meet and greet she had a long list of questions to make sure my dog, Fiona, would be happy and safe. During the stay she sent me lots of pictures and updates. It was immediately very clear that Fiona was safe, having LOTS of fun, and receiving a lot of love. Even though I went on vacation, Fiona might have had more fun.

Schedule
I have an office job in Lindholmen and I live in Eriksberg. My job is hybrid, so I can work both from home and office (but I need to ask for specific days in advance). It only takes me 5 minutes by bike to get home. So I can spend most of the day with pets at home and I can go for walks 3-4 times a day if necessary.

I have a 50 sq m apartment suitable for cats or small to medium dogs. The neighborhood is pretty green, so I can go for walks.
A typical day
I love walking with dogs (and willing cats). I’m pretty energetic, so we can run in the parks. I love playing with pets. Share their favourite toys, and we’ll have a blast! I can also train dogs if you want. I taught my dog all the basic commands when he was a puppy, which was very stimulating and fun for him. With cats, you gotta let them choose the activity. But in my experience, a good brushing is always welcome 🤗
