Highlights
Pet care experience
A human cuddle machine.
Had dogs all my life, up until recently. Our family dog has always been a larger breed - german Shepards, newfoundlands and golden retrievers. I have a good sense for what your dog might be needing, although I currently don't have one of my own, I occasionally look after my friends dogs. I enjoy long walks as it is and if your dog is active, can take it out for runs.

Margareta also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

Lokis second time staying over and he had a great time. Don’t think he wanted to leave next morning!
Marge looked after our dogs while we attended a concert at the Hydro. She gave us regular updates and photos, and was always prompt at replying.
Left Loki overnight with Margareta and he had a great time. Well looked after and I’m sure it’s not the last time Loki will stay over ☺️
Good experience!
Margareta has been looking after my dog for years now, not only does she walk Pippin my cockapoo, but she is actually friends with Pippin too. Last weekend they went to Peebles together for a (dog friendly) ice cream, then to an open air cinema to watch “Hitch” starring Will Smith and Eva Mendes. Afterwards, then went for a run along the beach and made friendship necklaces out of conch shells. They even brought one home for me. Margareta goes above and beyond for my pet. She is reliable, friendly and kind. I couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter! Pippin always comes home wagging her tail and exhausted from a day of fun with Marge! Xx :)

Schedule
In the winter time, I have more availability to be at home, however I do tend to go out during the day for bits of work, especially on the weekend.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have no pets of my own, therefore if your pet doesn't get on with others, it won't be an issue. I have a guest dog bowl and blanket and I'm happy to take whatever items your pet has for it's comfort. There is a shared park space at the back, that's got secure gates around it. I also drive, so can take your pet out for longer walks or jogs around bigger parks in the Southside, for example.
A typical day
If your dog is active, I'd happily go out for a run with it, play fletch, potentially go to lochs, as I have a car.
