I work full-time as a restaurant manager with a flexible schedule. I am available all day every Saturday and before and/or after my shifts Sunday through Friday for drop-ins and dog walking!

I make sure to pay attention to and follow all directions left by the pet parent to ensure your pet is as comfortable as they can be while you’re away. I will only take your dog to the dog park when permission is granted and if they have no history of aggression towards other dogs. I will give you my personal cell phone number for video calls, photo updates, in case of emergency, and to help put your mind at ease. I ensure there is water available, feeding/potty break schedules are followed, and will administer any medication your pet might need throughout the day. I make sure to clean up any accidents, messes that were made, or dishes that were used to tend to your pet and will leave your home in the condition it was in when I arrived. I take care of every pet with the every bit of respect, attention, and love that they deserve as if they were my own dog.

Please let me know if you have any special requests regarding the care for your dog, including any requests that might seem silly or insignificant. It may not seem like a priority to include that your dog loves to watch Wheel of Fortune every evening or likes to sleep under the pink fuzzy blanket, but I want your dog to be as comfortable as they can be and as stress-free as possible by following their routine any time you are away. I will do whatever it takes to make that happen. It is important that I know of any medical issues, scheduled medications/supplements, food aggression, or dietary restrictions your dog might have. Knowing this information in advance allows me time to best plan around work, avoid overbooking with other clients, and to create a plans that best fits your dog’s needs. If your dog has a history of aggression towards other animals or people, please let me know. We can set up some meet and greets before booking to establish trust and to ensure I am the best fit for your dog.
A typical day
I love doing any and all things that make your dog’s tail wag. If your dog is most excited to go on a car ride, I’ll be sure my gas tank is full. If your dog loves cuddles, I’ll bring my softest blanket. Energetic dog? We’ll take a trip to the nearest dog park, go on a long walk, or play with their favorite toys.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I had a 3 legged beagle mix and a border collie mix that both required medication daily. My 3 legged dog suffered from separation anxiety and my border collie mix is extremely active, so I have experience with both and will tend to your dog’s needs. I am available for day visits for potty breaks, feeding, watering, medication administration, exercise, belly rubs, and playtime. I can meet at your house/work and I am willing to travel. I’d love to take your furry friends for a walk in your neighborhood or take a trip to the dog park. Your dog can lead the way!

Maggie was wonderful with our dogs and kept us well updated while we were away, giving us peace of mind that our fur babies were well cared for during our trip! We also returned to find our home just as we left it, which is always much appreciated!
Margaret (Maggie) was an absolute God’s send. My dogs have never been under the care of someone that they’ve never been around before, and instantly it was like they’d known her their entire lives! One of my dogs is extremely anxious with new people, but Maggie very quickly eased her nerves and made each drop-in more and more fun for her. Every picture, and check-in provided, helped my mama nerves as well! My doggos were wonderfully loved, and I’ll always keep Maggie in mind when my babies need additional care.
Margaret was great. She made a pre visit to get to know our pets. She was remarkable and went above and beyond what was expected of her. Definitely recommend her. She is great!!!
Margaret was a fantastic sitter for my two kittens, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! She loved them like her own, and sent the best pictures every day - it definitely made me feel better seeing them so happy. She even asked about taking care of other things going on with the house, which I appreciated. We will definitely hire her again!
