Hi hi! A little bit about me: I've loved dogs my whole life and grew up with dogs, cats, pet rats and bunnies in my family so spending time with any animal on Rover is so fulfilling. I know how important it is to have someone you really trust looking after your pet while you’re away. Your peace of mind is one of my main objectives and I would be honored to support you and your family. I find canine cognition, behavior, and emotion to be extraordinary and fascinating and have dedicated much of my time to learning how to best understand and communicate with our furry friends. I am currently in my own process of adopting and training my first working line German shepherd. And in the meantime, I cannot wait to spend time with your pets! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. If you have any special requests or questions about my offerings or schedule, please feel free to reach out. I can’t wait to meet you all!

I’m available to be with your dog the entire day and have the ability to go out as frequently as needed for walks and playtime. I’m open to going to parks and permitted dog areas in the area.

Margaret was fantastic! She handled a tough assignment (puppy for a week) with apparent ease. Great communication and regular updates throughout the stay. We returned home to a very happy pup and a clean well maintained home! 10/10 for sure.
Margaret took such good care of our pups for a week while we were on vacation. She was super thoughtful of their quirks and helped ensure they had good walks with positive reinforcement. She also kept our house in very good shape while she was staying here. Would definitely book again!
Margaret is 10/10! Unfortunately, my dog had a medical emergency while I was away, and Margaret handled it with the kind of care and consideration you’d hope for when entrusting someone with your pup. I was on the opposite coast, and her frequent updates and clear communication put me at ease during a stressful situation. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was safe, comfortable, and cared for. I can’t recommend her enough!
We couldn’t have asked for a better house sitter than Margaret! From the moment we left Maya in her care, we felt completely at ease. Margaret went above and beyond to keep us updated — her thoughtful messages and adorable photos made us feel like we were right there with Maya 😃 Not only did she take amazing care of Maya, but she also engaged her in fun enrichment activities that kept her happy, stimulated, and relaxed. It was clear that Margaret treated Maya as if she were her own, which means the world to us. Coming home to a content, well-cared-for dog and a spotless house was such a gift. She’s truly outstanding, and we’d trust her with Maya again in a heartbeat 😊
Margaret was wonderful meeting our dogs and learning about their care. Very appreciated how attentive she was to listening to their instructions and asking questions of her own. Looking forward to having her watch them again soon!

Schedule
I’m up early for my own walk or run as well in the afternoon and or evening. I like to stay active and I would love for a dog to join my routine just as much as I’d love to join theirs.
