Hi, my name is Maggie T-R. I am a retired school teacher, and have an abundance of energy. I teach exercise classes, and play Pickleball and tennis. More importantly… I spent an exorbitant amount of time with my Pet menagerie, which consists of two dogs, two cats, and two horses. I have a very flexible schedule and there is someone home at my house at all times to care for our many pets. There isn’t an animal that I’ve met that doesn’t like me. I should’ve been a veterinarian. Anyway, you will love my country home and it’s quiet surroundings.

Margaret and her husband were the most amazing and kindest people we have ever met. They were both so caring and loving to our pup. We are eternally grateful for them. Both were so respectful, listened to all the instructions, and were extremely responsible for pup introductions. They have the kindest and most well behaved dogs. Bonus; they were so kind and considerate about ensuring my small pup’s boundaries, making sure they were being met, with slow introductions, and space to decompress!!! They are without a doubt the best dog people. They care, they love, and your pup(s) would be in the best hands ever. I’d I could give 1000 stars I would :)

I have known Maggie for 26 years. She is the most energetic and hard-working person I know. All the years I’ve known her she’s had several pets, all of whom are super friendly to those who enter her home. Her house is super neat and clean and her love for animals is astounding. You would be very lucky to have her care for your pets.
The most compassionate dog person you will ever meet! She treats all dogs in her care like family. I highly recommend her and your dogs will love her!

Schedule
I am available all the time. I have a fairly steady routine with our fur babies. They get walked regularly around the property and are very happy. I also have a Finger Lakes trail near my home, and I take my dogs to on a daily basis. Even though my road is quiet, we like the feeling of being totally in the woods.

I live on 10 acres of land, but I have a fenced in yard with access to a large barn. Live on a quiet road and our dogs and cats and horses are very happy. My home is back from the road to give my family the quietness they deserve.
Pets
A typical day
I live close to Ontario County pathways and take my dogs there twice a day. I also live on 10 acres and I’m surrounded by many fields. I like to hike up the hills to the woods. They also come with me when I feed my horses or when I’m generally doing yardwork. My dogs are exercised throughout the day. They have many toys that they like to fetch. When they get tired, they lay down, so I know they’ve had a good workout.
