Will love your dog like family
Hello! I am a dog-lover, but not currently a dog-owner. I have always had pets, cats and dogs. Your dog will be loved like family in our home: lots of attention and affection, car rides and sleeping in our bed (if they want to). We have a flat, shady path in our neighborhood for walks. We have a fenced in yard for outdoor time. I’m happy to text updates and photos! I have two Ragdoll cats, very sweet but not overly interested in dogs. They have their own space in our house. Our beloved shih tzu passed away last year, and we are not ready to be dog-owners again yet. But we love hosting small dogs! I work outside the home 2-3 hours a day. Otherwise I am very available for dog care. I enjoy taking walks in our neighborhood for the active doggy, but I’m happy to relax on the sofa with a more low-energy pup. I always make sure the dogs feel secure in my home by spending extra time with them when they first arrive. I always ask the owner for the dog’s nicknames so I can talk to them like they are spoken to at home. I encourage bringing the dog’s own toys, blankets, pillows, etc.

This is our 3rd booking with Margaret! She takes wonderful care of my pooch. She sends daily photos and is very responsive to messages. He is always happy staying with her. Would highly recommend her!

A typical day
I love to talk to dogs! We have a great walking path in our neighborhood that is shady and mostly flat. I am happy to walk your dog as much as they like. If they enjoy car rides, they are welcome to ride in my car around town on dog-friendly outings and errands.
