I’ve been pet sitting since I was young, and bring both a gentle touch and firm confidence when caring for animals. I believe in treating every pet like my own—with patience, attentiveness, and love. I have experience with cats, dogs, rodents, fish, reptiles, birds & even small farm animals like chickens and rabbits! I’m also feline and canine CPR certified and can administer oral/topical medications, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe and in trained hands.

I am very observant and always check that areas are safe and suitable before your pets are taken outside or interact with other people or animals. Besides being canine/feline CPR trained, I am great at identifying mood changes, monitoring food intake, and administration of topical and oral medications. Spaces are always kept clean and tidy and making sure your pet has fun and stays safe are my top priorities!

Margaret was great…we revived updates on our girl throughout the whole stay, including pictures! I appreciated her open communication and the attention she gave our Velcro dog!!
Margaret did a great job taking care of Ben, Finley, and Penelope. She followed the feeding instructions perfectly and was outstanding at caring for Penelope who has trauma issues. She was patient and very sweet. She sent videos and pictures too! When Margaret was ready to leave, Finley ran out the door with her! I felt very at ease and enjoyed my vacation knowing that my babies were taken care of!

Schedule
Pet sitting and providing other home services (such as houseplant tending, gardening, yardwork, and cleaning) are currently my full time jobs so you can be sure of receiving top quality care and more while you are away!

Medications, diet, behaviors and daily routine are key components to making sure your pet is well cared for! Please share this information (and any other important facts, like their favorite toys and treats) with me ahead of time to ensure I am well prepared and everything runs smoothly while you are away! To avoid scams and last minute cancelations, stays longer than 5 days require an additional 15-20% non-refundable deposit prior to the sitting. Cash, check, Cashapp or PayPal are accepted.
