I’ve been an animal lover since childhood and grew up with three amazing dogs. From puppyhood to their senior years, Chip, Buddy, and Gus taught me a lot about love, responsibility, and special care needs. Chip needed training to manage reactive behaviors, which taught me patience and consistency. Buddy’s hip problems in old age required gentle handling and mobility support, while Gus needed frequent baths and medication due to severe allergies. I’ve also helped my aunt care for foster puppies, including bottle-feeding and potty management. Although I always saw myself as a dog person, I developed a real love for cats after living with two for three years. I’ve grown comfortable with administering medications, trimming nails, and ensuring enriching play for cats as well. I’m happy to care for any animals—whether dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, reptiles, or birds. I bring empathy, reliability, and experience to every pet I care for!

I am unable to board pets at my home as my roommate has two cats and a dog, but I’m happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their familiar environment. I prioritize their safety and well-being and will always be respectful of your space, property, and privacy. Your pet will be in good hands while you’re away!
Ratings and reviews
We’ve had Margaret come twice now for our pup, the most recent an overnight stay. Skye has been happy and well cared for each time and we get lovely updates on how she’s doing while we are away!
Maggie was an amazing sitter in our home - she took such good care of our Loki - who is a big dog and has been having some bouts of vomiting. Not only that, she sent wonderful updates and pictures and went above and beyond to leave our home clean and taken care of!
Thank you for coming and spending time with our anxious pup! You made her feel at ease quickly and we enjoyed the pics of the happy girl. Thanks for your great communication, too!
I am always thrilled to get to leave my girl in Margaret’s care. She has done 3 stays at my home with my reactive girl and shows her so much love and patience. She has also very kindly offered flexibility with end times to care when I am running late getting home from a trip. I hope to leave my girl in Margaret’s care again soon :))
Margaret was so amazing - I was away for 3 weeks in another time zone and I felt at peace leaving my pets with her. Her updates were meaningful which I appreciated. She took my dog on bonus adventures and any picture she took of my dog or cat demonstrated that they were having a good time. My dog has a chronic illness that she’s treated for and Margaret was proactive about communicating signs that I flagged as potentially concerning. She has a clear love for animals and I would definitely hire her again!
Margaret took care of my two cats for 16 days, and I couldn’t be happier. She was responsive, met with us beforehand, followed all instructions, and my cats adored her. They were clearly well cared for and comfortable. Highly recommend her for anyone needing a reliable and caring cat sitter!
