Attentive dog-whisperer ❤️
Hi pet parents! My name is Molly and I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 10 years now. My first childhood dog was my responsibility and I got to care for my sweet boy. Family and friends have entrusted me many a time over the years to care for their fur babies. Just this last year I cared for over 20 dogs (one of which was a puppy not fully potty trained yet) and a cat. The puppy owner commented how pleased she was that upon return the puppy was able to sleep almost entirely through the night in her crate and, was no longer having accidents in the house. The cat loved his stay with me so much that the owner and I had to search my place and coax him out with treats! It would be a privilege to be entrusted with your cat or dog. I know it’s strenuous finding someone to take care of them, but I hope that I have conveyed how seriously I hold the trust an owner puts in me and that I have nothing short of the highest standards for pet care. I intend to exceed your expectations, not because I want to make a dollar or two doing this, but because I love animals, and want to make them feel at home while their parent is away.

Schedule
I only work four days a week at my full-time job. Therefore, I will have ample time Thursday evening after 5pm all the way through Monday morning to watch over your cat or dog—whether you’re planning to get away for a long weekend, or are setting off on a business trip.

Safety, trust & environment
With several parks just a stone’s throw away, I plan to keep your dog(s) stimulated by taking them on a different route each day. I am very active which means they will easily have at least hour-long walks (give or take depending on owner instruction, weather, age, breed, etc.). I also have a spacious apartment with plenty of room for a crate(s), food bowls, toys, and indoor playtime (for dogs and cats).
A typical day
We’ll walk around and explore alllll of the smells DC has to offer! I plan to give your dog plenty of exercise by taking them to one of many local parks and playing fetch, tug-of-war, or keep away (we all know well that some dogs enjoy this game the best haha). I plan to keep them mentally stimulated as well with different games and toys.
