I am now a mom to an infant under age 1, but when I am able, I love to spend a lot of my free time engaging in puppy and kitty play! Pets in my care will get appropriate potty breaks (every 2-4 hours for dogs), and physical exercise (walks or runs) as well as mental stimulation (training practices, toy play) every day. Based on animal needs, feeding will be based on a morning and evening schedule, noon feedings can be arranged. Water will be accessible at all times!

I always practice safety in creating a warm and comforting environment for your babies. This can mean many things, such as keeping your dog or cat to their designated spaces such as a crate or room if needed, and making sure their space is clean and free of any hazards or danger. I have a large doberman who is very friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs, and he is crate trained and neutered, but I always make sure socialization and introduction is handled with care with other animals before booking in my home. I have experience handling and walking dogs of all sizes and abilities. I have experience in a veterinary setting, and have a lot of knowledge on dog behavior and health. A typical day
I love to wake up and start the day with some exercise, running, walking, and playing fetch! Practicing obedience is always part of my morning routine for my own dog, and breakfast is given after settling down from all of the morning fun. I love playing games like hide & seek with toys and treats, using a sniffle mat, and lick mats to stimulate them mentally! Nap time is important after exercising their bodies and brains, so I love setting up cozy places to settle in and dream with some calming music on until their energy is back to play more!

I have over 2.5 years of experience working in boarding facilities and veterinary settings, including Karing Kennels for the USAF in Okinawa and a local vet practice, caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m trained in administering oral, topical, and IV medications, monitoring behavior and health, and following detailed care instructions. As a lifelong animal lover and proud Doberman mom, caring for pets like they’re my own is truly my passion! :)

margaret was amazing. willing to meet for drop off and pickup, plenty of pictures and updates and my dog was happy and exhausted when i got him back. we will be using margaret again the next time we go out of town.
Margaret was awesome!! she took care of our frenchie for a couple of days and always updated us on how she was doing. Drop/pick up was super easy as well. Will mos def be using her again!
We had to travel across country for a funeral and couldn’t bring our dog. This was our first time trusting someone to watch her, and boy were we nervous. Margaret did such a fantastic job! We received regular updates and pictures which helped ease my mind that coco was in good hands. She really cared for coco and made her part of her family for the week she watched her, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We will definitely be using Margaret again next time we have to travel!
