Pet care experience

Love 'em all!

Growing up around cats and all sorts of animals, I am well-versed in animal care for all sorts of pets: dogs, cats, reptiles, and birds namely (even bugs if you like entomology like I do!). My expertise in senior care, administering medicine, and patience with all sorts of temperaments sets me apart from other sitters. Don't ever be worried if your pet is a little shy or grumpy because I'm gonna love them regardless! I am happy to work with you to create a customized care plan that meets your pet's needs.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

My top priority is the safety and well-being of your pets. I am committed to replicating their routine and providing a stress-free environment in my care. I treat all animals with the same level of kindness and respect as I do humans, and I always take the time to get to know your pet and their unique needs. I am happy to provide daily walks or jogs in your pet's familiar surroundings or to explore new areas for a fun change of scenery. Whatever your pet needs to be happy and comfortable, I am dedicated to providing it! ***Please Read*** All Pets Must Be Listed: To ensure the best care for your pets, please list all animals that require care during the sitting. If your pets need food, please be sure to list it. Automatic feeders don't exempt pets from being listed; I'll still need to check if they work properly. If your pets need specific cleaning or care, please include that in the listing. Caged Animals: For caged animals such as guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, birds, and fish, there will be an additional fee of $5-10 per animal per night/drop-in, depending on the species. Please let me know if you have any of these animals, and I'll add them to the sitting. Please note that Rover requires all animals to be listed, regardless of care requirements. *Tips for a Great Sitting for You & Me:* For a smooth and stress-free experience, please leave or text an information sheet including emergency contact numbers, vet information, medication and dosage instructions (if applicable), daily routines, behavioral quirks, and temperament around other animals and people. Please also provide the location of cleaning supplies, leashes, and toys, as well as the location of any security cameras for my privacy. If it's an overnight stay, please let me know where you would like me to sleep and any amenities I can use. Additionally, please provide any other routine or care instructions that will help me take the best care of your pets. The more detailed the information, the better my care. If you have any questions or concerns about these policies, please don't hesitate to ask via Rover's private messaging system.

Follows your directions extremely well and connects with you at least once a day to let you know how your baby’s are doing. Went above and beyond when my dog wasn’t feeling so well and unfortunately did his business in the house.

Margaret was absolutely wonderful. I felt like she really took her job seriously. She even handled a serious scuffle between my two with absolute care and seriousness. Thankfully, it didn’t end up being that serious in the end. I would recommend her 10 times over.

Margaret did an excellent job house sitting and caring for my two bostons. She was very responsive, sent lots of pictures, and spent time playing with them. I will definitely rebook with her in the future.

The company I work for called me out on an urgent business trip requiring me to leave town for two days, in the short notice I couldn't get any of my family or friends to watch my golden mini doodle for me. Luckily Margaret was available and was so caring during her stay, I highly recommend her and I'll most certainly be calling her again if I ever need a pet sitter again.

It's important for me to know about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or other special needs your pet may have. Additionally, any behavioral quirks or preferences, such as favorite toys or treats, can help me tailor my care to meet their specific needs and ensure a happy and stress-free stay. The more detailed information you provide, the better I can understand and care for your furry friend, so please don't hesitate to share any relevant details with me.
