I’ve loved animals since I was 8—when I asked for birthday donations to the Humane Society instead of gifts. Since then, I’ve fostered three cats and a dog, grown up with two dogs, had cats of my own, and proudly serve as “god-momma” to countless pets. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and love their animals. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to seniors who need meds and extra care. For me, it’s hard to have a bad day when you’re greeted by those bright eyes and happy tails. I live in an apartment with some stairs and don’t have pets right now, which makes caring for yours the perfect outlet for my love and energy. I’ve found pets are often most comfortable in their own home, so I’m happy to come by or stay over to keep routines consistent and stress low. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for like family.

Margaret was great. She really helped us out when we had a last minute trip for a funeral. She was flexible, kind, good with our two dogs.
When Pancho, my lab puppy met Margaret he was immediately smitten with her. She obviously cares deeply about animals. She was very caring and communicative with me through the evening we were gone. Top sitter and great person. Would highly recommend.
Margaret was wonderful with our three-legged pup, Harper. She was very friendly and communicative, met with us before the booking to make sure instructions were clear, she sent sweet pictures, and Harper was in a great mood when we got home. Our house was tidy, our dog was loved, and she even left us with three little dog booties which will be very helpful on walks when the concrete heats up this summer (such a thoughtful gift!). I highly recommend having Margaret watch your pup.
Margaret took the best care of our girl! Lola was so loved and through the photos and videos, we could see how much she loved Margaret. Margaret is a lovely person who really loves dogs and we feel so lucky to have found her!

Schedule
Since I’m self-employed and work from home, my schedule is very flexible. I especially love midday walks and playtime—they’re the perfect break from my laptop and a chance to enjoy the warmest part of the day. I can easily fit pet care into my afternoons and evenings, and I’m happy to help during the week when pets need a little extra attention.
