Services
Margaret can care for
Availability
As a retiree, I’ve got an open schedule, aside from grandma responsibilities as they may occur. My veterinarian can give a good reference, as my own animals ( two dogs, one cat ) are well taken care of and up to date on all required vaccinations.

Regarding pet care in your home, I would follow your instructions and treat them as my own. I don’t descriminate - large, small, young, old.
Information Margaret M. would like to know about your pet
Are there special needs? I have lots of experience with all types of issues, having worked with my veterinarian father since I was a young girl.
A typical day
Depends on your pet’s age and personal preferences - are there physical limitations, is your pet a couch potato, does your pet like walks? I’m lousy at ball throwing, but will do it on and on. Lots of petting and brushing if that is needed.

Loving animals is in my blood!
Pet care experience
I grew up with my father’s veterinary practice attached to, and in our home. He was a 24/7 provider, with sometimes the whole family involved when needed. Oh the stories I can tell! As an adult, I’ve continued to care for and adopt needy dogs and cats. I’m now retiring from my career as a business analyst, and what better way to spend some time than with dogs or cats, coming full circle.
Cat care experience

Margaret also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Margaret was kind and attentive to my cats! I would recommend her services!

Margaret was an excellent pet sitter. She was very accommodating with our varied schedule during an out of town trip. I would recommend her services to anyone who wants a person who really cares about animals and their owners.
If anyone was ever ready to represent Rover, it's Peggy Magness. As the daughter of a veterinarian, she was not only born into the world of our four legged family members, she also spent many years working with her father taking care of them. And, dogs and cats have always been very spoiled members of her family. She has also dedicated many years working with Dachshund Rescue which further demonstrates her love of animals and her desire to see them well cared for. Your clients will love Peggy.
Hi! I'm Peggy's daughter. I can attest 100% that Peggy is the BEST. She is actually MY go-to dog walker and sitter. My golden retriever Finn loves her and there's no other person I'd rather him with when we're away or need someone to be with him. She grew up in the home of a veterinarian so her heart and soul are really best for animals. Although she's a wonderful, kind, caring, patient, and loving human being too :) She speaks every animal language whether it's dog, cat, bird, horse, or cow. Or raccoon. We were the home growing up that everyone brought stray animals to or roadside finds that needed help. She has just retired and has too much energy to sit home so her first inclination of course was to spend time with animals and is putting herself out there to her local community. If you need someone to walk or care for your best furry friend-- Peggy is your gal. She is the perfect dog walker, cat sitter/feeder, etc.
