We are very flexible when it comes to breeds, we are just honest dog lovers. We are very active people, but we are also happy laying on the couch if there is a dog that prefers that! We are very flexible overall. It is nice to know the personality of the dog in order to make the dog as comfortable as possible. If they are skittish at all, active, shy, if they bark a lot etc.
A typical day
I love going running or on walks. We live in the heart of Lincoln Park with a huge park across the street. We would be more than happy to take the dog(s) on a long walk or to go and play in the park.

Pet care experience
I am a true dog lover! I have had 3 dogs in my life and I am very comfortable around all breeds. I most recently had two yellow labs - both deceased - and I miss having dogs around. They both had vast medical issues, cancer, diabetes, etc. and I am very comfortable administering medication, shots, pills etc. if need be. My husband works from home and will be able to walk the dogs and play with them throughout the day. I will be able to stop at home during lunch to walk the dogs and play with them as well throughout the day. We are both animal lovers and would have a blast taking care of your dog(s) while you're away! We can't wait!

Butterscotch had a wonderful stay with Margaret! She was so easy to schedule with and very responsive before and during the stay. She sent daily updates of Butterscotch having adventures around the neighborhood, taking a snooze or walking herself down the hall (a favorite hobby). We could tell Butterscotch felt immediately at ease at her place as she didn't even try to come with us when we left! We are thankful to have a vacay sitter who lives so close to us and does such a great job providing our pup with love and care!
Margaret was great with our dog Maya! My husband and I were out of town for five days and were very lucky that we found Margaret to look after our 9 week old puppy Maya. Margaret was very quick to respond to my messages and was very accommodating for drop off since we had an early morning flight. We felt so comfortable leaving our pup in her care. Margaret sent us pictures and updates throughout the week which were great. We would highly recommend Margaret. She was wonderful!
