In my own home, pets have access to a big backyard, an open basement, and cozy spaces to relax, plus I create separate areas if a pet needs privacy or alone time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines carefully, respect their space, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment while keeping them engaged and happy. I always supervise interactions, manage any special needs, and make sure pets feel secure and loved at all times.

I like to know as much as possible about a pet’s personality, routine, and needs before we meet! This includes feeding schedules, favorite toys and activities, exercise habits, any medical conditions or medications, and how they interact with people and other pets. Knowing their quirks, triggers, and comforts helps me provide personalized care, keep them safe, and make them feel happy and secure while their humans are away. I pride myself on frequent check-in pics so that you know exactly how your pet is doing!
A typical day
A typical day with me is full of love, attention, and fun! I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, whether that’s walks on nearby trails, playtime in the backyard, or interactive games indoors. I spend time giving pets cuddles, training reinforcement, or just relaxing together depending on their personality. If they enjoy socializing, we might visit Twin Lakes Dog Park or have supervised playdates, and I always make sure every pet feels safe, happy, and engaged throughout the day. My goal is to make each day enjoyable, enriching, and full of care!

Dogs have been my whole world since I can remember. I started pet sitting on my own at 15 (before I could even drive, my parents would drop me off at a client house for the weekend). I built a loyal client base entirely through word of mouth and used it to support myself through my first year of college in St. Louis. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all temperaments, from shy or anxious pups to high-energy dogs and those with health concerns, and I absolutely love working with puppies and helping them grow into happy, confident dogs. I also have experience with cats and am currently smitten with my new kitten, who I’m helping develop a calm, happy personality. My 8-year-old boxer mix is calm, loving, and part of everything I do, and my home is completely pet-friendly. Pets can enjoy a big backyard, an open basement, and an extra room if they need their own space, plus trails just down the street for walks and adventures. I’ve even been flown to care for pets in different locations because my clients trust my dedication and love for their animals. I’m beyond excited to meet new pets in Columbia and connect with their families. My goal is to give every animal the care, attention, and love they deserve while keeping services flexible and affordable for their humans. Dogs are truly what I care about most in the world, and I can’t wait to meet yours!

Maggie took excellent care of my pup! She went above and beyond to make my dog comfortable and adjust to her home for the weekend! We will definitely be visiting her again! 10/10 recommend!
I hired Maggie to help take care of my baby while I was working swing shifts at work and was worried about disrupting his exercise and food schedule. I have one seventy-pound Doberman mix, who can be a lot of energy and a lot to handle when exercising. I very rarely leave my dog, so I was incredibly stressed out. Maggie took the stress out of the equation. Not only did I receive updates on when she was heading over, and leaving, I also got pictures of him throughout the time she was with him. I'm fairly certain he is more excited to see her during my shifts than he is to see me when I come home!!! She followed instructions to a T, even utilizing the equipment I left to help my dog stay cool on his walks, even when I mentioned it was a "if she had the time" basis and she didn't HAVE to do it. The fact she did really told me how much she cared about my dog's well-being. After the first visit, I am no longer stressed about leaving him, because I know he has the very best caretaker for him and his needs. Maggie really does love your dogs just as much as you do and takes every step she can to make it an enjoyable experience for both you and your baby!
Maggie was an excellent dog sitter for Louie! She showed up promptly every day for the full week that I was gone and played with him so well. Her communication was flawless and let me know how Louie was doing every day with fun pictures. Overall, she cared greatly for Louie and was a very responsible and respectful dog sitter!
Margaret is an animal lover who I would not hesitate to leave in care of my very loved and spoiled dog. She is gentle, intuitive, and incredibly attentive. She is capable and reliable and will provide your fur baby with so much love and attention.
