I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for 10+ years and have always had dogs of my own! I have experience with dogs as small as shi tzu and as large as English mastiffs. I already take my dog on 2+ walks a day around my quiet neighborhood and enjoy playing with my pup in the evenings! I live in a single family home with a fenced yard. I regularly walk my dog around the neighborhood and play fetch on a 30ft leash in an open field at the park around the corner. I am able to come to your neighborhood to care for your dog as well!

Margaret made our first experience with dog sitting wonderful! She is very communicative, sent us pictures, videos, and updates so we knew all was well with our Bailey. From Welcome to Goodbye we felt Bailey was well taken care of and loved!
Margaret watch three of my 50-60 lbs border collies for a week with complete ease. I am usually always worried how my dogs will react to people who don’t know how to handle them barking at you when you first come in. However, Margaret was able to quickly get them to calm down and was easily welcomed by the pack. She was great and on time for the scheduled drop in visits and followed all special instructions given for each dog. I’m extremely happy with Margaret and I will absolutely be continuing to book her for more drop in visits!

Schedule
I work full time but am usually able to accommodate getting home to the pups 1-2x a day while driving between facility locations for my job. Weekends I’m able to be home most of the day.

I care for dogs as if they are my own. I understand what positive play looks like for dogs of varying sizes and encourage dog owners to let me know what their dogs typical day looks like so I can mimic it as closely as possible.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks around my calms dn friendly neighborhood! I also love to make frozen enrichment treats for larger dogs to gnaw on (especially good for cooling off after a long walk)!
