I like to engage dogs on their level, take “sniff all you want” stroll and let the dog decide where to go (safety first), toss a ball or flying disc, or just get the business done and head on back to the couch.

I’ve had dogs almost all my life. Along the way, I’ve had cats, fish, and horses and sat for birds—including chickens. During my time as a licensed massage therapist, I even studied and performed canine massage.

We found Margaret here and immediately felt a good connection with her. At our first meeting, we could tell she would be a great fit watching over our fur kids and home while we’re away. She takes extensive notes on their care instructions, asked questions that I hadn’t thought of. This week, while we were away, she sent us numerous pics of the fur kids. Margaret H. took loving care of our dog Chica in our home for 12 days. We came back from our trip to be greeted by a very happy dog. We are grateful that Margret is a very caring and honest woman. As soon as I met her I felt at ease to allow her to stay in our home and take care of our pet . Margaret not only sent pictures of our pet but she also brushed Chica’s dense curly fur and cleaned her ears for us. We highly recommend Margaret .
