I am a veterinary student at OSU and have several years of experience as a veterinary assistant in general practice and emergency, so I am comfortable administering medications and monitoring special conditions. I have always been responsible for my own animals and currently have one perfect Aussie gal, a cat, and two horses on our quiet 10 acres. I am comfortable coming to your home while you are away so that your pets can maintain some normalcy, whether it is dropping in a few times a day or staying the night. I live with my boyfriend, so he is able to stay with my dog and cat while I am gone; if he is gone for a weekend that may affect my availability. Or, I have a small fenced yard with a dog door but plenty of room outside the yard for playtime, and could have 1 additional pet-guest at my house; ideally this guest would be potty-trained and dog friendly! My school schedule is busy but flexible enough to meet your pets needs 2-3x a day and I am happy to keep them happy and healthy while you’re away!

Their needs are first- I take them outside to potty, clean litter boxes, etc., then feed and clean waters. After that, it’s all play and pets!

Margaret did a great job caring for my two senior dogs on 9 drop-in visits. She followed instructions well and was attentive.
Margaret did an awesome job taking care of Rosie while we were away. It was a lengthy trip so I decided having her stay home would be less stressful. Margaret kept us up to date with photos and details of how she was doing. We will definitely be using Margaret again and I highly recommend!
Margaret stayed at our home and took great care of our dogs and horses for three days while we were out of town. She also sent pictures every day and took care of them in the same way we do. I will not hesitate to ask her again! It’s so nice to be able to go away for a few days and know our babies and home are so well taken care of.
Margaret was wonderful help with Rosie at short notice! She was able to accommodate our needs and Rosie loved her! Would highly recommend and will be using her again!

Schedule
I can make time in the mornings, lunch, and afternoon to drop in! Vet school is hard, but with lectures online, sometimes I opt for staying home do school with my pets!
