Hello! My name is Maggie. I’m a 31 year old living in South Lyon, & a lover of all animals; the furry, the scaled, the smelly, the shy, the rambunctious, & every animal in between. I’ve had a dog in my home since I was born. My specialty is rabbits! Rabbits are such unique creatures, & I know how to give them the care & gentle love they need. I’ve had 5 cats, 4 dogs, & 1 rabbit in my lifetime, & now, due to my living situation, I am unable to have my own furry pal. I am hoping to get my fix of animal love through this service, while also helping those who need a little help with their busy work schedule or holiday travel plans. I understand that all pets have different boundaries & quirks. If you have an escape artist cat living in your home, I will be sure to take extra care opening the doors. If your puppy is working on training, I am happy to help continue to with positive reinforcements. Upon meeting, will can go over all your pets’ needs… and their quirks! There will be no shortage of cuddles & playtime for those pets who need extra attention. And pets who take a little longer to build trust will soon find themselves a new friend to find comfort in!

Maggie cared for my 13 year old lab mix for over 10 days last Fall and I couldn’t be happier with the care. We cook our dog’s food and she even prepared her meals for her as we do. She always made sure she had plenty of walks and sent me photos of her, keeping me aware of how she was doing. On my return, I’m not sure she was ready to come with me and not stay with Maggie! ! 5 stars out of 5!
I always get incredibly nervous leaving my animals with someone, but all that anxiety completely went away once I found Margaret. She is absolutely amazing! My animals have the best time with her, and it is so clear that she genuinely cares about giving them all the love, attention, and specialized care they need. She has officially become my absolute go-to for a trusted, experienced pet sitter. I cannot recommend her enough!
Maggie came and stayed at my apartment with my dog for 12 days and it was such a blessing. My dog can be very particular and she really took to Maggie. It gave us huge peace of mind while we traveled as Maggie was giving us multiple updates each day on their adventures together. From hikes, to long walks, to dog park visits and even a couple dog beaches, our pup was probably sad to see Maggie leave. I will definitely be calling again in the future. Thanks Maggie!

Schedule
As a stay at home mom, my schedule is flexible. My toddler would accompany me to drop ins, but he has strict boundaries with animals. If your pet loves kids - great! My kiddo loves animals! If your pet is hesitant to kids, no worries - my son knows he isn’t allowed to go near animals without permission. If you aren’t comfortable with my son being around, I am available Wed-Fri for solo pet care! My husband is home those days!
