I am currently working two internships which limits my time a bit during the work week. I typically work from 10:30-2:30 pm Monday-Thursday. I also babysit roughly once every two weeks on the weekends around 6am-9am. In the past, I have consistently dedicated time out of my day to feeding, walking, playing, and taking my dog outside (however, sadly, she is no longer with us anymore as of April).

My own dog has been crate trained and I am fully capable of getting dogs in their crates. Additionally, I care for dogs the most my playing for them and caring for their basic needs. I am such an animal lover and are very attentive to the needs of animals. I have also given my own dog medicine (pills) before and this is something I am comfortable doing if necessary.

I don’t really have a preference for breeds or size! I have taken care of both small and bigger dogs. Let me know if your dog has any special behaviors that would indicate them needing something from me (aka to be let outside or to be fed).

I have plenty toys from my own dog I can take for dogs to play, but also use their own toys to play with them! Additionally my dog loved to play fetch and just run around with me so I am capable of doing so with another dog. I am the biggest animal love and I have no problem even just sitting on the floor and giving these dogs a bunch of love and scratches.

I have cared for my family’s dog since I was a young girl. I have taken her on countless walks, played with her, and taken care of her. I have hands-on experience caring for my own dog as well as other people’s pets. I have also overnight dogsat for two families before with two dogs each, and each were a success. I am very comfortable around dogs - even more than one! The family babysit for had a dog aswell, and I am fully capable of dedicating my time and attention to more than one animal/task.

Amazing experience with Maggie. I really can’t say enough good things about it. She was punctual, flexible, communicative, and kept me updated on everything for my dog. She is competent, responsible, and followed the care for my dog exactly as I had described. It really set my mind at ease while I was across the country. I will definitely look to hire Maggie again.
Margaret took great care of my Lemon, who can be a bit shy until she trusts someone. I appreciate the time Margaret took in helping my little girl feel comfortable.

I might be biased because I’m her dad, but Maggie’s love and affection for dogs is truly unmatched. She has always had a deep bond with animals, especially our family dog Lillie, a Portuguese Water Dog who adored Maggie right back. Over the years, Maggie was the one we could count on to care for Lillie whenever I traveled for work. I never had to worry—Maggie made sure Lillie was walked, fed, played with, and loved like a member of the family. She has a calm, nurturing energy that animals respond to, and she takes her responsibilities seriously. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog with the same care and devotion she gave to ours, I can’t recommend Maggie enough. She’ll be a loving, reliable companion to your pet while you’re away.
