I've been taking care of animals since I was a child, growing up with cats of my own. I currently have two cats and have been fostering with multiple shelters and rescue organizations for the past 6 years. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages from 3 week old puppies and kittens to 10+ year old senior dogs with medical needs. Any animal I care for is treated like a family member.

Margaret was very attentive and cared for my cat Winston like he was her own. I appreciated her communication while I was out of town. It gave me peace of mind and I knew he was in good care!! Highly recommend.
Margaret is wonderful!!!! I can’t give enough stars for her amazing communication, photos, and care she provided for my kitties. Even my super skittish Tortie warmed up to her quickly. I will be rebooking again!!

Maggie was very sweet and gentle with my senior rescue dog. She was able to accommodate his strict oral medication timing and physical restrictions. She asked clarifying questions as they arose. She was flexible with his care, as my dog can be quite particular when he’s having separation anxiety. I received cute photo updates, and my home was left nice and clean. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was being watched with such care and attention.
So grateful for Margaret! We had to book last minute, and she was so accommodating. We'll definitely continue to rebook!

Schedule
I currently work remote freelance so my schedule is extremely flexible every day of the week to fit the needs of your pet and their routine. If I have appointments or need to leave the house I always make sure pets are secure and safe.

Safety, trust & environment
In my own home I have a large fenced in back yard and have 2 cats. Cats are dog friendly and stick to themselves. Sometimes have foster dogs at the house so if some personalities don't match we have a plenty of baby gates and rooms so everyone will feel safe. In a clients home, I make sure to keep to the routine of your fur baby so they are most comfortable. I will always make sure, in my home or clients, that all food/items/etc. are safe from pets so they don't get into any trouble. If I leave the house, I always use pet cameras to monitor and make sure everyone is okay.

A typical day
I will always encourage safe socialization if other dogs are staying with me, lots of walks/playing fetch etc. I have plenty of lick mats/pupsicles/puzzles for brain enrichment. Lots of cuddles and pets.
