Margaret and Beckett were great during the meet and greet and they were very responsive leading up to the stay. While my dogs seemed safe and content upon my return, the house sit itself had several lapses in care and safety. The sitters arrived 86 minutes late due to a missed alarm. During the stay, they messaged me about dog vomit on the carpet; I provided instructions to use an enzymatic cleaner, yet I arrived home to find the mess untouched with the bottle of cleaner left on the floor next to it—a safety hazard for my dogs. Additionally, the home was not well cared for: the kitchen was left with dirty dishes, the bathroom floor was left with standing water, and bed linens were left covering a baseboard heater (a fire risk). There were also leaves and debris scattered across the bedroom which had blown in from the window. It took awhile to remove the debris from my sheepskin fur. While the sitters were receptive when I initially brought up these issues, the combination of safety oversights and lack of attention to detail means I will not be booking with them again. They are clearly good with animals, but I would only recommend them if you are able to provide close supervision.

Maggie and her partner watched my dogs at my house while I was away. Maggie regularly sent pictures and updates on how my pups were doing. She showed a lot of patience towards my newly adopted dog, who needs to be walked regularly while she is still working on potty training. My house was clear and orderly once I returned. I really appreciate and will be hiring her again soon.
