I work from home which allows me plenty of monitoring time for our visitors. We have a large fenced backyard for routine outside exploring. Weather permitting we like to go to the fully enclosed dog park near by.

We have a fully fenced in backyard, and a very pet friendly home. Our two dogs are use to welcoming visitors into their space and good about sharing. I always require an introduction prior to overnight visits to ensure our dogs have a bonding in a safe and calm environment prior to your departure.

Please let me know if there any special needs your dog may have. We have hosted many dogs with different personalities and our two dogs get along with many dogs. However, dogs that have a tendency to obsessively bark will not be a good fit.
A typical day
During the weekdays, our mornings starts out with a 20-30 min walk. The dogs are let out into the fenced backyard at least every hour to make sure the squirrels are not in the yard again! After clearing the property of squirrels is back inside for laying around on the numerous dog beds or playing with any of the dog toys. (Repeated many times during the day). Evenings is dinner time and a stimulating dog puzzle with treats. Weekends include longer walks and/or trips to the dog park. Depending on the comfort level of our visitor.

Im all about bringing the pack together. We have a comfortable house for dogs with lots of toys and dogs beds to enjoy. We have hosted numerous anxious dogs who just don't do well at a kennel while their family is gone. I have many techniques to helping our visitors feel as comfortable as possible during their stay and they end up feeling part of the pack. We ensure lots of activity and routine chill time to help our visitors settle in.

Our dog “Marshall” loves staying with Margaret. The night walks. Hanging out in the nice backyard. It’s definitely a little vacation for our four legged friend.
Margaret made me feel comfortable from the start. She listened to Bardi’s schedule/quirks and made me feel at ease with her relaxed responses. She sent so many pictures and gave regular updates. I felt comfortable the entire time and Bardi had a great time.
Amazing! Gave my dog enrichment, time at the park and was super thorough about her updates and his needs! Will be booking again!
Margaret was a fantastic dog watcher who made the entire experience stress-free. Communication was clear and prompt, and booking with her was seamless. She followed all of our care instructions and gave our pup plenty of attention, walks, and love. As a first-time dog owner, I really appreciated the regular updates and photos. Our dog was comfortable and happy throughout the stay, and we will definitely be using Margaret again!
