I really enjoy adding fun to dogs' lives with walks in their own neighborhoods or by providing them with sniffari adventures in our local parks. I have over a decade of experience with a wide variety of breeds, from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs, using positive reinforcement techniques to create harmonious relationships.

I have a large fenced yard set on 6 rural acres. I also have a full-size basement that is dedicated to dog training & is also great for playtime in inclement weather. My personal dogs are well-behaved & are always monitored when other dogs are in the home. Guest dogs are generally crated overnight, but they have access to the house & fenced yard during the day. All dogs are separated for meals & when they have chewies (non-rawhide only). I also include canine enrichment for all dogs in my care, tailored to each dog’s needs & preferences.

Mareth was a great communicator and ensured there were no small toys that our dog might try to swallow. She sent a picture and video during our dog’s short stay. Mareth is very knowledgeable about dog care and provides a clean, safe environment. When we went to pick up Kona, she was excited to see us, but also ran back into the house before we left, which made us feel like she must have enjoyed herself. We would definitely book with Mareth again!
Mareth was great with our 2 dogs. Very friendly. Had a nice fenced in back yard where the dogs could run safely.

Mareth is the best!
Wonderful experience with Mareth who cared for my two boys. She picked them up promptly and dropped them off as well - a wonderful service that helped make my last minute travel plans much easier to deal with. She was kind and patient with my dogs who can both get anxious easily. They were happy and didn’t have any accidents with her I could tell she loved in them lots and she sent lots of pics. I couldn’t have been happier and will definitely use her services in the future.
Mareth is the best pet sitter we’ve had. Our pup is nervous around new people. Mareth took the time to help her be comfortable. Mareth is dependable & always sends me pictures from her visits. Mareth is the best!

Schedule
In addition to caring for my 2 Bouviers & my Australian Cattle Dog mix, I train dogs part-time as well as volunteering with HSDC in Delaware. My dogs have titled in AKC Trick Dog, Fit Dog, Virtual Home Manners, & Canine Good Citizen. We trial in Rally Obedience & Fast CATs. I offer walks in safe neighborhoods & local parks. Trail walks may also be available for a additional fee.

- For dogs coming to my home, I require all client dogs to be on a monthly flea, tick, & heartworm preventative, to have a recent negative fecal exam & to stay up to date on their core vaccinations. Titer tests, proving sufficient immunity, are acceptable for those who prefer a minimal vaccination policy. I also need to know about any behavior issues (including fight & bite histories) the dog has, training the owner has done (if any), & medical conditions (including food & seasonal allergies).
