Pet care experience
I am an animal lover☺️I’ve been around animals majority of my life. I’ve owned different kinds of animals and I have also worked at a shelter when I was a teenager. I am very proud to say I have always taken very good care of animals and have some experience training animals as well. It is something that I would actually like to pursue more and possibly create a side job since it’s something that really brings me joy. Family members and friends have been asking me to pet sit since I was little. I would feed, walk, play with, as well as bath them if I was asked to do so. I take care of animals to the best of my ability which is why I always ask pet owners about how their pets are and if they have any special needs that I should be aware of.

Maren has watched our dogs a few times and each time we’ve been very happy. She’s communicative, responsible, and our dogs are always well taken care of when she stays with them.
Maren responded quickly to my last minute house and pet sitting request. She was communicative and sent pictures during her stay. Our dogs seemed happy when we got home and the house was in good condition. We’d use her for future care!

I treat them with the utmost care. I’d like to know everything I need to know about someone’s pet in order for me to take care of them to the best of my ability. Things that pet owners should communicate to me would be anything from allergies, or do they get a special treat, how they are on walks, and how their personality is. For me personally, I know that my two dogs living together need to be fed separately in order for my male dog not to finish the female dogs food. Im very observant when it comes to other pet owners animals since I’d like to learn and understand their behavior since ever dog is different.

I would like to have the communication between the pet owner and I to be very informative so that way I can care for their amazing pet to the best of my abilities. I’d like to know if they have any special care or needs that need to be met. Or for example if there are multiple animals in the house I’d like to know if they have to be separate or if they can eat together. I’d like to understand their schedule like what time they eat or when they usually are taken on a walk. Even learning their personality is very important to me.
A typical day
I do enjoy taking my dogs for walks around my neighborhood. For a treat I sometimes will take them for a car ride to get a pup cup or I’ll take them to the pet store to pick out a new toy. My favorite thing to do is to take them every once in a while to Lazy Dog in Vernon hills so they can be outside and also enjoy some food!

Availability
I work a full time job, but every morning starts with me letting my dogs outside for their potty break. I leave dry food out throughout the day and they get their wet food in the evening once I get home. I like taking them for walks and then either playing with them or keeping them company while I watch a movie or show.
