I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, puppies, and pets of all kinds. I’ve dog- and house-sat for my dad’s friend, a police officer in Portland, where I cared not only for their dogs but also their lizard and house plants, brought in mail, and managed trash and recycling. I provided daily walks—sometimes twice a day—and ensured pets received attention, exercise, and structure. Having grown up with dogs and successfully potty trained multiple puppies at a time, I know how to handle everything from playful energy to daily routines. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand the love, responsibility, and dedication it takes to care for your babies!

Mareka was a great sitter for our three dogs while we were gone for the week! She was great at providing updates with photos and giving the dogs lots of cuddles while we were away. She also went above and beyond with helping us take our trash out on garbage day, and left the house nice and clean to come back to. Definitely would recommend booking with Mareka, and will again if we ever need another dog sitter!!
I had an amazing experience with my dog sitter and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful care. She stayed with my pets for about two weeks while I was away on holiday, and I came home to everything in perfect condition. Not only was my dog clearly well-fed, happy, and groomed, but she also took great care of my lizard, which gave me so much peace of mind. On top of that, she went above and beyond by keeping the house clean, bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, watering my plants, and handling any housework that came up. It’s rare to find someone so responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. I felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such good hands. I would 100% book with her again!

I prioritize giving pets consistent attention, exercise, and companionship, whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company at home. Since I have experience caring for dogs, puppies, and other pets, I’m comfortable adjusting to each animal’s needs and routine, and I make sure their schedule is maintained while also keeping the home organized and secure.
