Pro Trainer Household + 24/7 Care (Work From Home)

The Professional Edge: Unlike standard boarders, my husband is a fully qualified dog trainer. This means we don't just "watch" your dog; we understand canine psychology, safety, and body language deeply. We have raised 6 dogs together and bring 15 years of experience to the table. Never Left Alone: I work from home, so your dog will have constant human companionship. No lonely days waiting for owners to return. Whether your dog has separation anxiety or just loves cuddles, I am there. Tailored Activity Levels: We adapt to your dog’s pace. I am a runner, so if your dog needs to burn energy, they can join me. However, having cared for our own senior dogs through their final years, we specialise in patience, gentle care, and quiet environments for elderly guests too. The Pack: We currently have three resident dogs who are super tolerant and friendly - perfect for dogs who enjoy a social environment.

I cannot recommend Marcus and his husband enough for looking after your dog - some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Regular updates. Knowledgeable and caring. Treated my dog as one of their own. Your dog will be in very capable and safe hands ☺️

Absolutely brilliant service! Responsive to messages. Regular updates on how my dog was doing. Very knowledgeable about dogs and clearly love them very much. And my dog came home cleaner than he went 😆 My dog has been very well looked after and I would have no hesitation in recommending Marcus for your dog boarding.

My dogs were so happy with Marcus!! They were obviously very well looked after and i have no issue with booking them again for julys 2 weeks. Fred is an older dog and they listened to all instructions and looked after him better than me!! Thank you so much x

What an amazing time my puppy had with our boarders. She was treated like one of their own. We had regular updates which was very reassuring. Can't thank them enough. They made her and us feel very welcome and we're very knowledgeable and we're happy to answer any questions. We have already rebooked and would definitely reccommend. Can't imagine her being looked after by anybody else now. So so happy how she was looked after and loved

Marcus and Glen would care for your fur babies like they are their own. They are incredible pet parents to their own dogs and animals, and they are more than just pets to them they are their family. Your dogs would be in the safest hands with them and they’d give them the best care and attention while staying with them.

Schedule

Constant Companionship (Zero "Home Alone" Time) Because I work from home 100% of the time, your dog is never left unattended. Our routine is structured but flexible: Mornings: Potty breaks and supervision while I work. Afternoons (The Bonus): My husband finishes work at 1:00 PM Mon-Fri. This means for half the day, your dog has two caretakers available for walks, play, or training reinforcement. Weekends: We are completely off work, meaning weekends are dedicated entirely to long walks, runs, or relaxation depending on your dog's energy level.

Safety, trust & environment

Professional-Grade Safety & Security This is where our experience matters most. Because my husband is a qualified dog trainer, our home is managed with a deep understanding of canine body language and pack dynamics. We don't just "hope" dogs get along; we actively manage interactions to ensure safety. The Environment: Secure Perimeter: We have a fully walled and fenced outdoor garden space. It is specifically designed to be escape-proof, offering a safe zone for toilet breaks and play without the risk of bolting. Supervised Socialisation: We have three friendly resident dogs. However, we do not force interactions. Introductions are done slowly and professionally (utilising trainer protocols) to ensure your dog feels safe and welcome, not overwhelmed. Double the Eyes: With both of us present from early afternoon onwards, we have a higher supervision ratio than almost any other sitter.

Pets

A typical day

Morning: The day starts with a potty break in our secure, walled garden, followed by breakfast. While I work from home, dogs usually nap by my feet or enjoy puzzle toys for mental stimulation. Afternoon (The Active Phase): Once my husband returns at 1:00 PM, the activity level ramps up. For High Energy Dogs: We go for a run or a long, brisk walk to burn off that working-dog energy. For Seniors/Chill Dogs: We take a slow, "sniff-focused" walk or just enjoy garden time. Evening: Evenings are for relaxation and "pack time." We wind down on the sofa for cuddles. We keep the routine as close to your home schedule as possible to minimize stress.

To ensure the safety of your dog and our resident pack, please let us know: Socialisation: How is your dog with other dogs? We have three friendly dogs, so your dog must be non-aggressive towards other animals. Triggers: Does your dog have resource guarding issues (food/toys) or specific fears (loud noises, men, etc.)? As a trainer-led household, we can manage these, but we must know in advance. Separation Anxiety: Can they be left alone for short periods, or do they need constant eyes-on supervision? Medical: Any allergies or medications? Honesty is key! The more we know, the better we can tailor their stay.
