I grew up with dogs in Ohio, until 18 when I moved to NYC, in 2004. I adopted my last dog Buckley in 2010. Since then, I have become sort of an uncle for my friends dogs. I have been caring for 3 dogs in my friend circle, at the same time or solo for 5 years. I’m also a classically trained singer, and the dogs seem to find peace in singing. I was a full time caregiver and helped adopt and raise 3 dogs with that family over 10 years.

Marcus is my go-to for my pets (both boarding and walks), and I truly can’t recommend him enough! He recently watched my two dogs, Alice and Joey, and my cat, Tuna, for 3 weeks while I was away for 3 weeks. I know I can trust Marcus with my pets for weeks at a time, and I also regularly book him for walks with Joey, my very energetic puppy. So happy to have found reliable pet care with Marcus. Alice is 14 and needs a slower, more patient pace, while Joey is the complete opposite...and Marcus handles that mix so seamlessly. He’s incredibly attentive, intuitive, and just genuinely loves spending time with them. Tuna even adores Marcus, which says a lot - he's a finicky kitty who doesn't show affection with just anyone! He sends consistent photo and video updates, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m away. It’s honestly obvious how much my pets adore him; they treat him like he’s their second owner, and I’m pretty sure they don’t even notice I’m gone! Marcus is reliable, communicative, warm, and someone I trust completely with my animals. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets like they’re his own, he’s your person. Marcus is great with animals! He loves dogs and always keeps the area and dog neat and clean. He’s very friendly and easy to deal with.
Marcus cared lovingly for my elderly friend’s difficult rescue dog, patience to the tenth degree, kind even when the dog bit him… he understood the dog had had a difficult life and couldn’t help her behaviour. He saw her through cancer right to the end. Marcus is a loving caretaker! Your pet is in safe and tender hands!!
Marcus has watched my two kitties when I've gone out of town for years now. I trust him completely. Animals love him. He has a good heart, is friendly, reliable, and responds quickly. I highly recommend him to care for your sweet pets.

Schedule
My roommate has 1 small dog, that I take care of when needed. I take care of a 2 year old female dog most days of the week, mostly to keep her company as her mom works.

Dogs are allowed to run around and play freely. I tend to be consistent with picking things off the floor which may be dangerous. I keep my attention on them at all times. My goal is to make them comfortable.
