Marcus came to look after Lenny for 1 night, and I could tell Len had been well looked after when I got back as he was a very happy boy! You also wouldn’t have known anyone had been here because the house was exactly how I had left it. Len is a 35kg doodle full of energy but also very needy and slightly nervous so he perhaps isn’t the easiest dog to look after. However when Marcus came over prior to the visit it was very clear that Len was not nervous at all around him and in fact was rather excited… which Marcus handled well 😅. I had lots of pictures and videos, a meet up before hand, Marcus took lots of notes on Len’s care, was flexible on timings and is generally a very lovely person. I would definitely book doggy care with Marcus again.

Like so many dog owners it is such a daunting process of having to find someone honest, trustworthy and reliable to put your faith in to look after your furry family member. We found Marcus and Josh on Rover and they both came across as very genuine and honest and clearly shared a common interest in dogs with having a pooch of their own. Before we committed to the dog minding, we met up with Marcus in person and he was a breath of fresh air! There were no awkward silences or forced conversation and he was so genuine, down to earth and honestly a pleasure to speak with. Marcus asked us lots of questions about Rio's day to day life; feeding habits (times / dry or wet food etc), allergies, likes / dislikes (toys etc), sleeping arrangements (bed / mat ect), any dietary needs among other things. It's hard to remember everything, but everything was asked through genuine, free flowing interest and not as part of a question and answer session. In addition to the initial meet and greet, we were also able to meet Marcus and Josh's little sweetheart; Piper. She is absolutely incredible bundle of joy and such a gentle soul even considering her unreal energy levels 😄 what’s more, she would drop the ball in front of our 3 year old (bare in mind they had never met before) and she just lay there on all fours waiting for her to pick the ball up and throw(ish) it! This'll give you an idea of her temperament. As for Piper and how she was with Rio, they got on like a house on fire by the looks of the videos that Marcus and Josh sent us! Rio was taken on 3 walks a day, andnwas off lead where able to do so. This will obviously be down to each owners discretion, but we are confident in Rio's recall / heel work so were able to reassure both Marcus and Josh that she was more than free to go off lead when in a space that they felt comfortable to do so. On to 'pupdates'! Marcus and Josh sent us updates throughout the day; normally around times when Rio and Piper were out together. However, one of the more conscientious updates was the day we left Rio with Marcus and Josh. The first was an hour or so after we had dropped Rio off and then several more updates before bed time. Then the next morning was about how well Rio did at settling down to sleep. This goes to show that Marcus and Josh are very much in tune with how anxious people can be with leaving their furry family member for a few days. Incoming cliché 😄 Honestly, we couldn't have asked for better dog minders than Marcus and Josh. From our own experience, you are using two incredibly genuine, pleasant and down to earth people to look after your furry friend. They are extremely conscientious and fully understanding of your individual needs. Marcus and Josh are situated in an area where they are able to be taking on (if required) long on and off lead walks, so they will get the necessary stimulants that they need. They have the 2nd most (to Rio 😄) adorable dog in Piper that will be the most amazing play mate for a few days with your furry friend! Honestly, we cannot recommend Marcus and Josh enough and will most certainly be using them again in future when we have short breaks away planned! Honestly, if there are any doubts, drop them a message and ask for a meet up before any bookings and they will have no issues whatsoever in accommodating you 😊. If you've made it this far, Rio is a 6 year old Golden Retriever 🐶.

Marcus and Josh have been absolute saviours! They came to meet our pup Teddy the night before they were due to look after him for a while 12 hours at our home and immediately we felt like our previous boy was in safe hands. They even gave us some tips they have learned along the way to support our pups development. On the day they kept us fully updated, sticking to the routine we outset. When we got home our pup was as happy a boy as we left him. Thank you both!

Josh and Marcus were absolutely fantastic while dog sitting my two dogs and looking after my home for five days. From start to finish, their service was brilliant. Their communication was excellent — I always felt informed and reassured, and they were quick to respond to any messages. They sent the most wonderful pictures of my dogs, which really put my mind at ease and showed just how happy and well cared for they were. It was clear they genuinely cared, not just about the dogs, but about my home as well. Everything was spotless when I returned, and my dogs were relaxed and content — the best sign of all! They truly went above and beyond in every way. I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and professional sitters. Marcus and Josh took great care of my dog Margie. They were communicative and sent lots of updates throughout the day. They gave Margie plenty of exercise and lots of fuss. I would highly recommend them to anyone 🙂

Luna had the best stay with Marcus. Excellent communication, frequent updates, and lots of walks and love. We felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. We would definitely book with him again - top tier dog sitter!
