Pet care experience

We got your tails covered ;)

Service includes : -daily/hourly check ins (videos or photos) - doggy art. (We like to do doggy paw arts for the doggy parents to take home) -basic grooming (brushing, ear cleaning , nail trimming) - videos of mind stimulating games for example fetch. I’ve (Marcos) been taking care of dogs/cats since I was a young boy. We moved alot so our pets had to adapt pretty fast with us. I have experience with the anxiety they get with new places especially when they mark and make messes due to discomfort. I’m well prepared for that. My wife (Nadia) has been taking care of animals since she was 6. She’s currently 23. She’s from South-Africa and grew up on a farm with lots of animals (horses, cows, goats, sheep, etc) and had to maintain the pets. She helped groom and train dogs to be socially accepting of all animals/kids and adults. She’s experienced with grooming dogs of all sizes.

So grateful Nadia is local to us. She is great with my baby girl and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and genuine sitter.

They are always so prompt to respond and take great care of Biscuit! I can trust that he will be well taken care of, even with his special needs such as the medicine he takes. I would recommend!

Nadia watched my pups last minute when I needed a sitter, when I was going out of town: She was very kind and sent pictures often! She asked me about their routine and what makes them comfortable etc. It made my first time using Rover a amazing experience! I will book with Nadia in the future! Thank you so much!!

Schedule

We’re mostly home during the week and weekends. We tend to get long walks in after lunch time. We have a very active dog that needs potty breaks every hour or two so that he doesn’t get to overwhelmed in the home. This gives us a chance to take any other active or young pups out especially the ones doing potty training.

Safety, trust & environment

We live in a town home in East Mesa. We have a big green patch in front of our home for quick potty breaks. We also have a private dog park right behind our home for early morning and afternoon trips. Our dogs love the dog park and there’s a couple of obstacle activities that was recently added to it. The small dogs love the tunnels. The green patch is also safe for those doggies that likes to play fetch and burn some of that energy. Our Kelpie loves fetch and he’s a no leash dog which makes it easier and more trusting. We have a two bedroom home , two stories. The bedrooms are upstairs. We have dog beds and blankets down stairs for those older doggies that doesn’t like climbing up and down stairs and we try to make it as comfortable downstairs for them as we can. Our bedroom is always open for the pups that’s visiting. If you have a doggie that loves sleeping on the bed or just being a couch potato, they’ll love it here. Our pups are the biggest couch potatoes. All pets are free to roam our home and sleep where they want. I, Nadia, is home all the time especially during the bookings. Your pup will always have someone around them.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day woud be waking up at 6am to prepare for morning walks and breakfast. Our dogs would usually eat around 6:20am and right after we go for a walk and burn some energy. This is the perfect time for a walk (between 6:30am and 7am). As we have two dogs that’s very young and very energetic. I like taking the doggies to the dog park in the morning as it’s not to busy and usually we would have the park for ourselves where we can play fetch and run around. After that I allow them to be couch potatoes with some potty breaks in between. There is water bowls everywhere around the house. Around 5pm is dinner for my doggies. After that we go for another walk and meet up with some of the neighbors dogs that they’ve bonded with. We would just hangout at the doggie park again. It’s super close where it’s literally in my back yard. We would be home and all hang out in the living room and one last potty break before bed time.

Marcos & Nadia can host up to 4 pets per night
Information that is important is whether your dog can be around other pets. We do cater to any type of pet but we need to know ahead of time so that we can split the house and still allow lots of room for the pet.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
