I work in a temporary position right now as well as running an art business. I would love for pet care to take up more of my schedule so that I can begin doing art from home and smoothly transition out of my current role! There's nothing like sketching or painting cuddled up with a pet, and taking breaks to explore the world together!

I've lived with a large dog for the past 8 years and often have friends cats and dogs come to visit, so my home is already customized to be pet friendly. With no yard there's no possibility for pet to get out, but my apartment has a dog park we can frequent and lots of space to go on walks! I do my best to keep clients updated with photos, videos, and notes about their pets diet, activity, or bathroom habits. I know that when I used to go out of town I was worried sick about my dog and wanted to know he was safe AND happy, so I keep that in mind with how I care for others pets!

A typical day
I love running around with dogs! I enjoy playing fetch, chase or tug of war with pets, as well as doing some basic training with their meals for enrichment. I love brushing dogs, gently playing with them, and cuddling as well. I always talk to the pets too or read with them, so even if we aren't running around they know they are cared for and paid attention to.

Pet care experience
I've had family dogs my whole life, and have helped raise cats as well. My special fur baby was named Jack, he was a 90 pound lab mix with lots of energy, allergies, and love. I learned a lot taking care of him, and when he passed I knew I was ready to give that love to others fur babies. I have done short term fostering and babysitting as well as house visits. The pets I've taken care of have had special needs, medication, cones, and have been elderly. Whether it's the biggest dog on the block, the most mischievous cat, or a special baby with health needs I'll make sure they feel the love they deserve.

Kind and sweet to my dog, but also called, texted, called my emergency contact, and got Rover support involved because the puppy defecated indoors and they could not immediately reach me to come and get him early.
