Hi, I’m Marco! I’m a cat owner myself, so I know how stressful it can be leaving your cat with someone else when you’re away. I’d always want to know that my own cats were being looked after by someone patient, reliable, and genuinely comfortable around cats. I’ve had cats for years and have looked after them through different stages of life. One of my cats has been with me since she was around 6 weeks old and is now three, so I’ve been through the kitten chaos and all the little changes that come with them growing up. My other cat had health problems from a young age, so I also have experience giving medication and keeping an eye out for changes in behaviour or appetite. I currently volunteer with Cats Protection, where I help care for cats with very different personalities. Some are confident and want attention straight away, while others are shy and need a bit more time and space. I’m happy to let them come to me when they’re ready rather than forcing interaction. During a visit, I can feed your cat, refresh their water, clean the litter tray, play with them, give them some company, or simply sit with them if that’s what they prefer. I’m also happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away. Mostly, I just want your cat to feel comfortable in their own home and for you to feel reassured that someone is looking after them properly.
