Hi there, I'm Marco Nunes, the founder of Polo's Paws—a local business dedicated to providing insured, affordable, and high-quality care for dogs. My journey with dogs began when my family rescued a pup facing significant behavioral challenges. She was aggressive towards people and other dogs, and destructive when left alone, making daily life challenging. Determined to help her and others like her, I immersed myself in the world of dog care. I started my career at a dog daycare that offered private lessons and boarding. Under the mentorship of experienced trainers, I quickly learned effective techniques. I led pack walks with groups of 10 dogs, of various breeds and temperaments. Through this experience, I not only transformed my family dog but also gained the skills to help other families achieve the same relief and joy of having a well-socialized, happy companion. Today, my goal with Polo's Paws is to ensure every dog I work with is fully fulfilled and transformed, allowing families to enjoy their wonderful company without the stress of managing a restless dog. I provide a secure and enriching space for your dog, whether in my home or yours. My home features a fenced yard and an in-building dog park, perfect for burning off energy. Your pup will also enjoy daily pack walks, just like the ones I led while managing groups of 10 dogs at a time in a doggy daycare. I have a friendly resident dog who loves company, creating a social and welcoming atmosphere. If needed, I can also crate dogs for rest and sleep, ensuring a structured and comfortable stay. Safety, trust, and a happy environment are my top priorities!

Marco is a true dog lover. He took great care of my Rotty. He doesn’t trust people very quickly you’ve got to earn his trust and Marco did that with ease. He’s a great communicator and has a very high drive to fulfill your dog
I trust Marco with my dog, an awesome pack walker, calm, and very patient with my black lab. Would recommend as my dog walks on the leash way better after a couple walks with Marco.

Schedule
I currently work part-time and it’s work from home, which means I spend all of my day with my dog—going on walks, playing, and ensuring they stay active and happy. Your pup will seamlessly join our routine, getting plenty of exercise, socialization, and enrichment throughout the day. Whether it’s a fun pack walk, playtime in my fenced yard, or relaxing downtime, I’ll make sure they have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience while in my care!
