I currently am working only a few hours a week at a retail job. I'm really retired, but I enjoy the job still......so long as I am not really, really working too much. My employer is very accommodating, so I can work one shift a week, and they are happy.

I will drop in, spend half hour or an hour or two..whatever you wish. Take the dogs out for potty breaks, spend some time with them so they get some stimulation and attention. Feed them, water plants. Really, I'm pretty flexible.

Let me know what your pet requires. I will let you know promptly if I can or cannot meet those requirements. In 15 years, I've yet to run across a situation where I couldn't handle it. I've taken care of everything from Koi fish to llamas, so there's not much that flusters me.
A typical day
I ask clients what their pets like to do and follow their nudges. I will be out in the yard with your pets, make sure they have treats/food/meds and water....and whatever you need.

Pet care experience
I have been petsitting for over 15 years and still sit for my very first client ever. One thing I know is that my clients and I have a good basis for trusting one another, and I think it's the most important aspect of our relationship, really. Pets are so forgiving. I've put halters on wrong and certainly have not been able to duplicate their owners exact routines, but they seem to enjoy the attention and don't mind the silly mistakes. I'm looking to add clients who would like me to drop in and take care of simple stuff. I no longer walk bigger dogs....but I'm great at ball tossing and hanging out if you have to be away all day. I have experience with cats, too, of course. And I know that they are a lot more sociable than people realize. They get lonely, too. My biggest strength, I think, is that I am mature and reliable.

Marcy has cared for our aging schnoodle several times. He is 17 and not in the best of health. He needs medication twice a day and is not always in a good mood. Marcy is a concerned and caring pet sitter and is very reliable. Her rates are as low or lower than most and substantially lower than a kennel with the added advantage of not having our pet unrooted and taken out of his normal routine. I recommend her without reservations and will certainly use her services myself the next time I need a sitter.
