A typical day
I have a big wonderful backyard that is fun to explore and perfect for playing fetch in. We love walks in the neighborhood. If approved by you, I enjoy training and exercises with treats as the positive reward.

Hi pet parents! I’m Marci, and I’ve been house and pet sitting for over 12 years with excellent references available upon request. I grew up in Southern Missouri around a wide variety of animals, which gave me early hands-on experience with training and daily care. Professionally, I’ve worked in both exotic and domestic animal environments, including a zoo setting caring for livestock (such as alpacas, ponies, and young camels) and aviary birds, as well as a high-volume dog boarding/daycare facility in Phoenix, AZ where I worked with 150+ dogs daily. This gave me a strong understanding of dog behavior, group dynamics, and handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’m confident with drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and maintaining your pet’s routine exactly as needed—including feeding, exercise, medication, and companionship. I especially enjoy walks, enrichment, and positive reinforcement training for puppies and energetic dogs, always prioritizing safety, structure, and calm, happy behavior. I’m dependable, communicative, and treat every home and pet with respect and care as if they were my own. I have reliable transportation and auto insurance for peace of mind. I currently live in Branson, Missouri and am a stay at home mom/photographer. My daughter is very gentle, calm, and accustomed to being around animals. I have a very rambunctious boxer/pit mix and a very nosey fat cat. It’s hard to find someone I can trust to love and take care of my 75 pound girl as most people are intimidated by all of that personality charging at them. However, Marci always embraces her excitement and seems to find ways to calm her. As for my handsome cat, he adores her and never seems hesitant to share his affection with her. I’ve even entrusted her with the tasks of feeding my leopard geckos while out of town. My geckos are housed together and can sometimes be aggressive towards one another during feeding times. I was quite impressed with her ability to follow strict feeding instructions to prevent any unwanted contact between my geckos while feeding. I would definitely say Marci is very trustworthy and attentive. I never have any doubts that my animals are well tended to when they are in her care. She seems to adore all of the wild personalities they each possess.
Marci has been a responsible, attentive, and sweet caregiver to my dog, Olive, for over 1 year now. She is easy to communicate with and I am able to put my full trust in her while she is in my home and caring for my dog. She is always on time when it comes to feeding and letting Olive out for the bathroom and always checks in with me to let me know how well everything is going. I'd definitely recommend Marci to anyone looking for an easygoing, hard working caregiver for their pet!
